Really you are doing a great job , this is very common that everyone is saying PG k Bina kuch b nahi hai , but I have seen log MCh krke bhi patients ni aa rhe .
In some states like Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, many MD ( Pharma, PSM, Pathology ) physicians are having good , infact roaring practise established within 3 years of starting their private practise. They are seeing approximately 50 patients per day with 400 to 500 consultation fees. They are seeing all types of patients including Hypertension, Diabetes, Basic renal, GI pathologies and all. Sir is absolutely correct its good to grasp maximum knowledge and apply them gradually over your patients to heal them.
This is great advice, Most of the time patients are fed up with doctor's attitude, If you just listen to patients properly without jumping onto conclusions or just properly explaining the treatment. Most of the doctors these days act like robots with no scope of gaining patient trust
Thank u so much for this informative video 😮 Ive watched ur series starting troubles And watching u now share useful information for medical aspirant like me Need more such videos pls make more ❤❤
Sir, I have a clinic, I was very lucky that my father is a doctor and I learned a lot from him. Now I am very comfortable even at handling some emergencies. I have observed that a lot of patients suffer due to quacks... I am not a specialist but still I have treated a wide variety of patients. I have observed that quacks in my area prescribed 2-3 NSAIDS together, 2-3 PPI together, they give dexamethasone for fever... Basically they just make the patient more and more ill... MBBS doctors are needed much more than any time but they don't realise it. Common illnesses don't require a specialist but a family doctor...

Hello Doctor, I am 37 and an engineer, not able to get a sustainable job. I am giving a thought whether joining MBBS. I wish to get a low cost govt seat through NEET which I think should not be difficult considering my engineering. My concern is regarding the career after MBBS in medical field and job prospects or private practice in a own small clinic.. I would be happy to hear from other viewers, please feel free to reply.
1.5-2 lakhs agar aa raha hai as a gp, then why PG ? Lol. People forget that they need to align their plans according to their capacities and likings. Pg karke bhi koi faida nahi when that person doesnt have the motivation. Reasonably good content for jr docs. 👏
Sir, will it work if I pursue MD in some paraclinical subject like PSM or Pharmacology, and devote the evening time (2-3 days in a week) for private practice? Please let me know about....🙏🏼
Also because of some points you stated now I understand why govt hospital docs stick to their jobs despite the meger pay "quarter meh raho quarter lete raho" 😂
I completely agree with you Sir, but at the age of 29, having my personal chamber, with max fees of Rs - 200-300, one can barely earn 40-45k / month, where as my friends from the same school, who were far inferior student from me, did Engineering in IT or CS is earning minimum of 20 lpa, settled with own car, wife kids, doing international tours.....I can understand that doctors earn 40 lpa at the age of 60 ....but at 60 what to do with the money? With all joints having osteoarthritis?..... I am planning to do B. Tech agian or may be MBA, because the market of a doctor is in own country only and no point of doing MBBS... It is a retirement plan....I am really worried with my life, your video makes me smile and encourages me but I don't have any option.... In a Metro city like Kolkata, everyone is going to a specialist.... A uber driver is earning more than mbbs of 30 years age !!!
It’s true that doctors(not only “plain”/পাতি/খালি/“ordinary” MBBS,specialists too)may face a huge downfall in the near future bcz a lot of doctors remain jobless or compromise income already. The legacy which is used to be tagged with the word ”doctor” is getting faded away. There may be many causes:unnecessary medical colleges here and there without proper infrastructure, people seeking super speciality tag,”google graduated doctors”, indifferent govt or whatever may be….But I want to say also with respect to Dr. Jagdish sir that the job is not also easy as it mentioned in the video after getting a small touch from the reality as a general practitioner…the situation is changing drastically.
After that if a person wants to go abroad,he or she may have to listen the words”selfish”,”braindrain” or “moneysucker” but a few may understand the path you had to travel to get a dream life.
What are you talking bro? I live in greater Kolkata, haven't you seen how even the homeopathy doctors are charging high fees like allopathy doctors and they also have good number of patients on daily basis?? You being mbbs graduate don't have confidence?
