my hairs been growing out for a bit but it wasn’t cut for a middle part i just kinda let it grow after having a side part cut do i need to layer it and if so what do i have to ask for as i’ve never had long hair before and currently it looks pretty ass from the sides. also i just ordered a clay and a sea salt spray im wondering if that could give my sides enough texture to make it look good even if currently its kind of a mess
Yeah man, if you want a middle part layering could help it lay better. Ask for some light layers to add some shape especially on the sides. The clay and sea salt spray should help with texture and give the sides more control. Just work with what you’ve got and keep experimenting with different things

Hi, I am a teenanger and I had growing my hair for 6 months, but a month ago I decided out of my stupidity, to cut it. Because I loved my hair so much, I left 6 inches on top, bangs near the eyebrows, and shaved on side with a 4# clipper. Now it’s overgrown and I like it, but I wonder, how it would grow back if it’s so asymmetrical? Like in 6 months from now, my top hair it will be 12 inches, my sides 6, and my bangs probably 8. What’s your opinion?
I honestly don't think it matters. What happens is your hair in the front and top will get so long to the point where you'll push it back and it'll sort of blend together. The first time I grew out my hair I started with a fringe so my hair was very top and bang heavy but I had a fade on the sides. Around the 4-5 month mark I went in and got it trimmed up and layered a bit, looked fine. So you should be good but let me know how it goes
