Some actors were born to play a specific role
    RDJ- Ironman
    Hugh Jackman- Wolverine
    Cris Evans- Captain America
    Hemsworth- Thor
    Charlie Cox- Daredevil
    Vincent- Wilson fisk

I disagree with Hemsworth because I feel a lot of other actors could’ve been just as good or better. For example, I feel like Alexander Skarsgard could’ve been just as good if not better because he is a better actor than Hemsworth.
And this one will be controversial but I also disagree with Hugh Jackman. He’s amazing, he is one of the best comic book casting ever but at the same time he carried a lot with his acting performance in the early movies because it didn’t had good writing and on top of that his Wolverine wasn’t good at h2h combat, was too tall and the whole point of the name “The Wolverine” is for the animal being small and being one of most ferocious animals in the world, etc. Tom Hardy could’ve been just as good or better because he is more comic accurate and hypothetically if he was written good at h2h, dived more into his senses and Berseker rage I feel Tom Hardy could’ve been better. But of course Hugh Jackman still one of the best comic book casting for that version of Wolverine.

The comment about the director and the other actors being more aware of the reliance on the eyes and the need to utilize other acting tricks was very insightful. I've never thought of that before and your discussion actually added to my appreciation of the show.

Such a great example of a simple Rogerian argument that Matt makes in this episode. It's friggin compelling how they wrote that for his character while sustaining the subtext of him also hinting to jurors that he knows what's really going on ... just brilliant writing.

How do do many UA-camrs not realize that bald ginger man is a professional hitman? It shows him buying a gun from Turk because he just got into town, the guy he killed was a mobster, Fisk had their last hitman killed in jail like they attempted with Karen, so they obviously would need to replace him. The gun jammed so it took a lot more time to kill his target, allowing the police to show up before he could make a getaway. So, he hides the presumably unmarked gun that would be used against him if found and surrenders so that his criminal employer can get him out of it. It's clear as day but UA-camrs keep overanalyzing towards radical conclusions because it wasn't literally stated that he was a hired gun.

@@AngeloBarovierSD My guess is it's just regional. Shark is another good word to call the person, but I've never heard it used as a verb. Nobody says "I sharked him," but they will say "I hustled him."

Hey, Meg and Caleb! If you could please reconsider making "Spider-Man: Homecoming" a Patreon exclusive, that would be tremendously appreciated! I've been following your MCU journey and the missing chapter feels like a huge void! I'm sure the edited reaction will guarantee many views. I cannot afford to finance a Patreon account. You guys should reserve that for content with niche appeal. Don't deny us hoi polloi the pleasure of vicarious joy! I'm a completist and the missing movie is giving me OCD conniptions! Please help!!!! I jest but I'm also deadly serious...

I never understood why people think case of the week series are good. Most of them are so stupid and simple that it hurts. An absolute underchallenge of the brain. Only superficial mass-produced goods. Nothing that goes into depth. The brain should just not make an effort that the dumbing down of the world proceeds quickly.
Series with a consistent storyline, depth of character, really well thought-out content, these are the really good ones.
Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Daredevil, Game of Thrones, Black Sails, Haunting of Hill House, Stranger Things.
Not such a crap as CSI and the others.
The last good case of the week series were in the 90s until the beginning of 2000.

??? One villain per episode? That's just lazy writing. And this series, as the best video media Marvel has ever produced, won't do that. This show, and Jessica Jones, and The Punisher, are shining examples of just how good the MCU could have been...

    • @xxraptorxx8180

I don’t know about lazy writing most comics early on had a villain of the issue and the flash tv show did the villain per episode really well whilst still having an overall story in the background. The first 3 seasons of flash did it well at least
