- Gresty Road | League Two Stadiums
Today I look at the history of Gresty Road, the home ground of Crewe Alexandra since 1906. Crewe currently play in League Two with the ground holding just over 10,000 spectators. The ground is known for sponsorship reasons as the Mornflake Stadium and is also known as the Alexandra Stadium.

Crewe not very often you hear of them. I don’t think they ever had won a league only some smaller cups, but they once had a manager that coached the team for many many years
They have never won a league title before in any division that is correct. They had Gradi as manager for a very long time. I think he is banned for life from football now.
@@historyoffootball87thanks for the information. I read more about him at Wikipedia and that was new info for me
Wrong on the Alexandra. The hotel where they were formed.
According to all online sources I could find it says the Alexandra part of the name was named after the Princess.
