    Yup, young, strong..... Invincible!!!
Sadly, too many of us have pushed to hard, or had an accident...
For me, yup, young, strong....but that was the least of it.
Stepped in to a hole in a straw stack, three layers of bales between me and the ground.
One foot found the ground, the other knee found my face.... Watery eyes and the runny nose weren't anything.... It was the damage done to the bottom 5 vertebrae.... Stair stepped them, blew out two discs... That was about 30 years ago, I'm now in my mid 50s.... Pay for it every day!
Arthritis has made it even worse...
Every year or two, I have to go get the nerves electrically burned in the facet joints... The only way I can walk, work... FARM.
This guy has it right... USE THE LOADER!!!! Once you get injured, you always find the LOADER

Often it is not just one thing but a series of things over years. Also consider that at about 30 years of age the blood supply to your back is reduced as part of the normal aging process. What you got away with at 25 years old will hurt you at 35 years of age. No I'm not a doctor but I do own a back injury. Actually several injuries... buckets of cement into a crawl space, ceder logs out of a swamp, 156lb box, and finally some garbage barrels. At 32 y/o I lost my ability to even walk for a whole year. A decade later with the help of a handful of pills each day I can stand and work again. Use your brain not your back is something I learned the hard way.

like bill clinton said 1 time, ''i feel your pain'', hurt my back in 1993, age 27, pushing a car trailer 25ft, endless injection's, PT many time's and 3 back surgery's, there's not a day when i'm pain free, but life goes on and we do the best we can.
