One of our nice cows attacked me while calving, I was just trying to help her. She also attacked me afterwards. Hopefully my family will get rid of her! At least I would have been ready - please give your life to JESUS before it's too late!
Reminds of one time to cows were given birth at the same time We didn't have two calving pennes so we had put them together in the same penn One hour later they before had given birth The next morning I go to check on them and I hear roaring from the shed I go to look and see what it was and stick my head in and two of the calves behind one of the cows They were roaring so load I was a little scared not gonna lie They began head butting so I run over to the milking parlour to get my dad He says sort it and told and my cousin to milk the cows My dad came back half later My dad said that he put one of them in with the main heard and also said that the cows were fine but l found out soon that one slanded the other up to wall hard it had big cut on it There was blood all over its left hip Later I see one of the calves but a badge around it's back right leg I am guessing one of the cows studded on the calves leg and broke it I don't know why the cows were fighting I guess one of them thought they twins or something like that
That's all very well. Calves have to be tagged, de-horned and castrated while young, preferably within the first week. Gates and refuge areas are one solution. I hope the cow went straight to the slaughterhouse, it would if it were mine.
