You and everyone else on the planet. Just watched Coach Dave have a good race with Leclerc. How does that kid get so fast after only playing GT sport for a couple hours.

Hi mate, been following you for some time, love your content - you’re doing great!
I have a technical question for you, regarding your pedals technique - do you have to use the clutch and heal & toe for downshifting GT3 cars? Or do you just left foot brake? I’m asking for both real life and sim. For instance, driving your Ferrari 488 GT3 in real life, do you need to clutch and blip the throttle at all? And in sims (AC, ACC, GT Sport, iRacing), are they similar or a lot more forgiving?
    Thanks mate, cheers

Most modern gt3 cars do not use clutch for anything except stop/start. There is automatic rev matching on downshift. Also quite common on sporty road cars. Ie my scirocco does it.

Hello David, great race! Very consistent and a P2 finish. I came across your channel yesterday, one of your onboard stories. I really liked it and will watch some more of them. I have one question though as I noticed something as I watched this race. On the long straight after come down from the mountain, is there a reason as to why you never shifted to 6th gear until you were on top of the crest? I ask because I noticed that you were red lining 5th gear for 3 seconds on average coming up onto the crest. Anyways, I wish you the best in your racing future, best of luck, Mike. PS. new subscriber, :D

Hey Mike! Welcome to the channel. The reason is I was waiting for the car to hit 261kph, if I shift before that the acceleration in 6th is not as strong.

David Perel Got you, learned something about the car and you did max out at 280 kph. 👍 I was thinking that you were holding off as, if crest the rise too fast the underneath of the car would be some amount of higher above the surface creating a possible air foil and therefore creating the possibility of a flip over. I’ve seen that a couple times at Le Mans. Hopefully you get back to racing real cars soon.

In terms of a.i are they going to blatantly run into you or actually feel like they have a concern for themselves and the player
