- Join this point of view drive in our Manual R8 V10 SPYDER with a custom straight piped exhaust system.

Haha thanks a lot! It's a lot harder as in other cars too with how light the flywheel of the V10 is. You can blip it to 8k in half a second if you're not careful 😁

Hey man thanks for this awesome video.There are not a lot of manual V10 R8 pov videos, especially SPYDER, I mean not even a single video expect this.So again thank you.Also I would love to see more povs or videos of the r8 :), I mean who wouldn't want to see videos of an Audi R8 V10 Spyder with a gated manual transmission.
Yeah I know. That's why we are holding on to this car so dearly. Last of the big engines to have the option to have a manual. Combined with the sound and the roof down, we like to think it's the ultimate driving experience 😁👍

@@tomfarrell1933 With the valves open it's straight through from the cats back. However the cats are still in place, a complete straight through exhaust usually also has no cats.

@@justinjohnson1766 Probably Germany, we live in Belgium which is becoming one of the worst. To put a numberplate on an R8 it's 11k, then 4k yearly + 2k insurance. So the first year it's 17k in taxes, just to get it on the road... Then 6k/year to keep it on the road.
How's it like to own and drive around town?
Hi, this is my dad's car. It rarely gets driven to be honest. However it is a dream to drive. Drives really easily, just like a normal car to be honest. Only problem is (as with any supercar) that it attracts a lot of unwanted attention. Hence the reason why we don't use it often. You can't just leave it somewhere parked and go out to eat without getting paranoid all the time, to then come back and notice finger and hand imprints on the car of disrespectful people who see it and want to touch it or take pictures sitting/leaning on it. That's our only big annoyance. It rides really comfortably, and the engine and sound is literally unmatched. Hope this gave you the answer you were looking for :-).
@@AaronMattheus yeah, same with my porsche 718 thats is wrapped. So many people are looking and touching it. Holy shit cause I have never had so much attention with it. Norwegian people are crazy cause car here are so expensive.

It's a 2012, we bought it in 2014 with only 8.000km on it and nox it still only has 18.000km ☺️
