They all brought something different to the band. Pretty much it was like a different band for each singer. I also like them all different moods call for a certain singer out of them all
I remember listening to this when it came out and being all like "DIS AIN'T MARK LOLOLO SO BAD". Now I listen to it and realize it was as freaking good as ever. This guy's legit. Can't believe I was such an arse.
Dude, where do I know this Verse from? I swear I have heard from a nother band or artist that might have ripped this. But I swear I have heard that before!
Wow... It's kinda shocking listen an Adema song and it's not Mark singing... This guy is not bad, he sings fine and the song is nice but the problem is... He's not Mark :p
I actually like this song, out of all the Adema Albums, Planets has the most tracks that I like: Tornado, Sevenfold, Planets & until now.But my Fav Adema track is All these years off the Kill the Headlights album, As it pretty much sums up a lot of the people I've met over the years.
this is epic, and yes people, this is adema after Mark left. but then he came back and left again, so the vocals duty was given to bassist and guitarist.
Now that the original band is back together after 13 years, my childhood dream has come true. Adema was one of the first bands I ever fell in love with as a younger teenager. When Marky left in 2003 I was so upset. Luke was pretty decent, and the guys created an album with a sound and atmosphere that fit his voice, but Luke was a serious diva and treated the guys like shit. Kill the Headlights was fantastic and if Bobby Reeves had stayed I would have been happy. Thankfully he left on good terms and I hope maybe one day Marky can do a remaster of Planets and Kill the Headlights.
I don't think Mark will ever do a remaster of the albums he didnt participated. And I think he didnt need to. Bands need to go through phases. And Planets and Kill the Headlights were a phase of Adema. A phase which someone new came and gave some contribution (Luke in this case). Now its time to move on and create a new thing.
so many idiotic comments... you know nothing about this band, how dare you to complain about it if you're not a true fan. They had this singer for little less than a year in 2005.... -_-
Yeaaaah buddy! Brilliant song, and planets was an outstanding album. Different, but great non the less. Glad Adema set the mark for music in my childhood.
Same here, all I've ever been able to find about luke leaving is personal reasons and something about falling out with the band, specifically with dave. But I've never been able to find anymore details about his departure.
It's like no one here realizes this song is from 2005 or that they put out a newer album (in '07) with a new singer, then had Mark re-join before ultimately having their guitarist take over vocal duties
It does grow on you. I'll probably get this album for the sake of completion. 'Kill The Headlights' with Bobby Reeves is damn good. A sincere attempt to keep nu metal alive in 2007.
I actually liked "Kill The Headlights" a lot more than "Planets." Bobby Reeves was a stronger and more versatile vocalist, the instrumental arrangements were catchier and more diverse, and the production quality was a lot more crisp and punchy.
@@NexusKinI disagree on all those points lol, Bobby & Ed basically took level demos that they had already put out, rehashed them & made them “Adema” songs without changing much, that’s most of Kill the Headlights, not bad but definitely not Adema. The few demos they put out before the album were actually new & sounded far more like Adema than most of that album. Tho, Bobby unfortunately was a disaster live too. Planets was Adema at their creative peak, they spoke about being pressured into the nu metal sound from their old label & finally being able to have full creative freedom with Luke & a new record deal. As a singer, based on talent, out of the studio, he sounded the best live. His lyricism is more complex & varied. The band sounds like themselves, those are distinctly Tim’s riffs, Kris goes harder than ever, & Dave is as good as ever. Their peak era in my opinion & the album that aged the best
the fuck? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo why did they leave i hope they come back
That's just stupid, does band need to rename every time they try to tap from other, in this case similar genres? "People" ain't too harsh, they just i(n)diots that ignore good music because vocalist is different or some other puny reason, oh no ,songs about relationships and emotions, nu-metal bands never do that, they are an bearers of true metal!(s)
@@saaaaaaaaadasda It’s not stupid at all. If Dave Grohl had started his band and kept the Nirvana name people would have lost their shit. Hate the new singer all you want, I think he sounds great and is easier to understand than most singers nowadays. If ya'll can't accept the new singer, then you're not a true Adema fan so please don't even bother replying to my comment if you can't accept the changes that the band made.
+Joel Karschner Yeah, Mark Chavez is not in the business nor the guy singing in this video. So either accept it or lose it, this is the last of what we would have known of Adema, stop bitching.
They have had 3 singers, and this album is pretty good. Chavez it better though, but their other two albums with other singers still rock, check them out.
I suppose Luke wasn't a fit because Planets lyrics are fairly introspective, versus the mindless numetal that was put out by past albums. Everyone has their preferences.
How can you sleep at night having lied to these eyes.... My Favorite Adema song! just love this song to death. Whole album is awesome.
Apparently I was the only one that liked all 3 singers of Adema.
+Cody Raulston you're not the only one. this guy wasn't that bad to be honest, i wondering where this band would have went if he would have stayed.
Nah Luke Caraccioli was actually pretty good. Planets was a very underrated album. Not the best Adema ever had, but definitely full of great tracks
Not the only one, all of their albums are good in their own way
They all brought something different to the band. Pretty much it was like a different band for each singer. I also like them all different moods call for a certain singer out of them all
I did too
SO SHWEEEETTT...much love Tee with LIONS NAMED LEO.[the music worldwide}
and ooooweee YES....rockin!!!!!!
This has a very 12 Stones vibe to me.
Along with 10 Years band
Very Trapt-ish
Miss the nostalgia of the late 90’s 🥲
I can hear it now
Adema Post-grunge band
Most of my Adema experience was after mark, loved the band through their waves
Love the song, love the lyrics, love the band, love the background and theme... We have an audio recording complication resulting in montone. 10/10
I remember listening to this when it came out and being all like "DIS AIN'T MARK LOLOLO SO BAD". Now I listen to it and realize it was as freaking good as ever. This guy's legit. Can't believe I was such an arse.
I don't believe it was an "arse" move. He is good no doubt, but he's missing that extra Adema touch that Mark had.
? I think your younger self was right
I think he was just missing that certain darkness that Mark brought in his voice. But I jammed out to this album a lot growing up. Such a great album!
Just put it on repeat and jam
Ok guys I know that this song doesn't sound like Adema, but you can't just hate them because Mark is gone, this is still a really good song.
Damn this is nostalgia
Awesome bassist, them bass line fill Ins octive notes sounds awesome. Good work
This is one reason I've been pissed mark never came back because the band is really solid and talented
I first heard Adema on Greg Hastings Tournament Paintball Max'd.. I wish they made more albums with Nick Forcillo as lead singer.
I first heard adema on mortal Kombat deadly alliance
One of my all time favs❤❤❤
Mark come back!

agreed
They had two albums with other singers, both good, but Chavez is back anyway
Definitely agree. He's good, but he doesn't have that Adema sound in him that Mark had. I'm glad Mark's back with them now.
He is Luke he is really good boy
Lead guitarist from orgy sings for the now it's great

This kid actually did good in my opinion. I loved this album
It says published March 30th 2012. It looks like its fresh from the 90's.
No one gave this singer a chance or the next they are the only to adema albums I own planets and kill the headlights
Grande musica, ótimo álbum

Muito bom um clássico, sonzeira.
Adema é bom demais, mesmo com a saida do Mark.

Always gotta come back.
That's because video upload dates don't determine when the music video was made all the time.
Love this song and the singer 😄
Fez parte da minha infância
Alguien por aqui 2023
Except adema's singer didn't die. He just left.
The breakdown is pretty slick...
I am sad to say I agree, for whatever reasons they parted ways....the band never recovered.
can't believe they released this..
That song reminds me my first love in mid school. Thanks for all Guys

If I had to pick a song that describes what rock is as a default it would be this song
This singer RULLZ!!!!!!!
He rules alright , He rules the land of singer that don't match the band they sing for..
I like it.
It's not bad at all. You got to give them a chance. What ever happened, I'm sure they have their reasons,,
lol i still dont see how they came to the desicion to replace mark chavez with this little girl
the fuck? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo why did they leave i hope they come back
So the cave broke down, and they are all like: "where the fuck are we?" :D xD
grande musica 😀
same shit happened to drowning pool....very sad!
At least Adema managed to get three official releases with the old members. Drowning Pool only got one.
i don't like to say that at all, but your're completely right...
This new lead singer is not bad planets is a great album
Wasn't Mark Chavez supposed to sing for them again? I think that's his name...
share adema with someone but now..
With this guy its like...rip adema.
Idk how to feel.
What happened to the old singer?
When did Adema become 3 doors down?
i like the new guy

When did Jack Osbourne join the band Hahahaha!!!
This is what happens when a band splits prematurely. This is not bad for what it's suppose to be just not what they used to be.
no Mark = no Adema
emo shit happened
loopka87 Cry more, dude. Mark wasn't any better at the time. He went and did Midnight Panic after Adema, which was even MORE emo than Adema - Planets.
So what is it?
Anybody else find it weird that the rest of the band looks like there in their 30's and the lead singer looks like he's 16? Or is it just me?
