Metal Detecting 1600s New England Property And Visiting Nearby Devil's Rock

- Please join Mark and me as we search a very old farm property that dates back to the 1600s. We metal detect the field directly behind the house and barn in search of silver coins, buttons, and other relics. It was a quick hunt, but I did find a nice silver coin.
We also visit the nearby Devils Rock which was the site of a certified colonial sighting of Lucifer himself by a respected local citizen centuries ago.
About Aquachigger:
I enjoy metal detecting for historical items like gold coins, relics, silver coins, and other buried treasures. I also metal detect for gold and silver nuggets and even meteorites. I like to make videos that promote my choice of lifestyle that includes outdoor adventure,
metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed by most people who are not familiar with outdoor adventures and nature. I keep my UA-cam "Aquachigger" channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.
BTW, you can also catch me here, / chiggsarmy ,but I may get a little edgier there. FB isn't a place for kids anyway...lol.

Just a short video tonight, but we do visit an interesting site known as Devils Rock. I hope you enjoy!
Hi Beau. I'm ready to get a large coil for my Max. Knowing you've had the opportunity to test out several id like to get your input on your preference. My soil in Ohio is a sandy clay and not much in the way of hot rocks or heavy mineralization. Thanks in advance.
Thanks Chigg for another great AQUACHIGGER ADVENTURE
Aloha Chigg, Thanks for the companionship!
enjoyed the video some good finds enjoyed watching
Always love staying until the end for Bobbie wobbs and Fiona
glad to see you out doing what you enjoy doing
Thank you for taking us along on another great adventure 👍
Yeaper fun Stories of Daniel Webster has Similar Encounter's the Devil 😈 foot prints as well Spookie!!!; )
Ground Hog day lol 😂...still love the Chigg.
Silver always makes it a good day
Awesome day chigger and fines are great 👍🐈
Great video and thank you for sharing.
I came for the extended theme song at the end.
Awesome dig Chigg, how about that dinosaur foot print, anything ever come of it
It's still there. No new info.
I will be in New England in a couple months , cannot wait to detect there!
I thought I was going made with the doubled segment in the video. Great quarter find.
Great vid chig , keep them coming 😁
Coffee is great! I remember my arrowhead field being void of snow but Febuary frozen solid here in Wisco. It was easy walking on but I had to coffee pee on two beautiful points to release them from the frozen tundra. (no heavy mud on muck boots that day) Rk.
Hi Aquachigger, how are you. good video , so where is Devils Rock at, I've never been there. good hunting my friend. thank you for sharing this video with me.
I would be interested to know as well. A Google search doesn't turn up much.
Good job, Beau Ouimette. 👏
8:00 yup I can see the scratch marks lol.. nice coin find chig and a short but great video. Thanks for sharing definitely see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼
Oh thank you Chigg, I’m so stressed with political news that a good old Aquachigger video is like chicken soup for my soul. Your the best at living a good life. 😊
Don't fall in to the political crap hole. If you narrow it down, It's all a waste of time. Plus why choose to stress yourself out? Hang in there!
Hi chigg the old building.. I’ve seen places like that still in use they referred to it as the underground fridge or the ice house. the one I have been in was still used for wine storage. Big rocks all keep it cool in the summer. Hope that helps wish I had some pics of it to show you it had the Same thing at the back to.
Thanks for the info
i can’t believe you just pulled that quarter out of the ground. 😊
This is my dream. I like in New England and love the history that's all around us here.
I'd love to inspect the grounds of the original plantations and colony.
I can very much see myself getting into metal detecting as a history buff
That is why I bought one today . History is interesting . Real history. Not the lies they told us .
Love the content chigg!
Thanks
Good evening from Southeast South Dakota
I need to have chigg come down and hunt with me at a stage stop, place to water horses and feed. Both horses and the Buffalo soldiers from San Angelo. They did patrols and trailed behind the Comanches. I don't think anyone wanted a running fight with the Comanches. The town and county here in Texas are named for them
I like Mark!
Nice Barber Beau! And another interesting story. Who doesn't enjoy a good old local tale about some feature they have there. Can't wait to see where you guys wound up hunting.
Nice find!!
Coin, right off the bat!
Happy treasure hunting
Another Chigg good video! T4S 👍😘
Is it me? Or does Mark remind anyone else of actor Timothy Olyphant a little bit? (It’s a compliment 🙂)
It sure is hard hunting a iron field. Good for you for finding the jewellery piece and the 1907 coin!
I’m surprised that the partial shovel head was in there.
Devil’s Rock, what an interesting story.
😂😂😂 I thought the same thing!!
nice lucky find Chigg.
Anyone else seeing and hearing double?😂😂😂
I Like a Spot That Keeps On Giveing😎👍✌.
Need a small coil digging in that much iron! But Chigg's a pro and already knows that. I'd love to dig New England! So much older with more history than my area.
Chigg... thank you for the video.. good content bro!
I'll bet a Fisher 1266-X would be great in those fields.
Chigger Digger done slapped us two videos together for this one! Cheers! Edit: Make that three!!!
Hey friend, thanks for the upload.
Thanks for the visit
@@aquachigger you are welcome
🤘😎 Thanks Chigg. Who’s face is on that barber quarter? I’ve been searching on the internet for 20 minutes and not a single source can tell me.
Thanks so much. I'm not sure who was the model for the face. If I find out I'll post it here for ya.
Pretty sure it's a more masculine looking version of lady liberty... or so I've read😉
I got the same piece of jewelry wow
Nice silver barber quarter!
Reporting in.
Nice big silver buddy!
Cool video. Hopefully that ancient house isn't in danger.
Cool find chigg
Do you know who made the saying "Today's the Day!" famous?
I worked off of the MV Magruder back in 2004. Kim was running the company then.
I do. Been in the hobby a long time ;)
Hey Chigg and hey Mark b
My man mark!
We have a couple Devil’s Rocks here in New England. We have
Devil’s Foot Rock here in RI.
And in Ipswich Ma. The devils footprint when he jumped from the steeple 🤪
Sil-vah!
Love when the editing seems a bit screwy, reminds us you’re human like the rest of us 😅
Yes. 1
The metal detectors work better in the cold.
Have you ever hit underground phone lines or water pipes?
One driveway alarm wire and two irrigation tubes.
I was taking a nap.
Lucky devil.
Is that a die chip on the obverse of the quarter?
Is that The Congering house? 😳
Silver
Ever come to NJ?
I have a few times.
How are we going to know what they found
I show pictures at the end of the interesting things.
Was that an old coin🤔
Older than me....than you?
@@aquachigger I'm 71 years old
I always have to grin when I see "very old - 1600" - in the UK, that's recent! 🙂
Noice!
THE STORYS ARE GETTING EVEN BETTER THAN YOURS CHIGG😅.
I drank a lot of coffee this morning... I can do it up for you 😆😆😆😆 oh my!
Glad someone caught that....lol.
Chigg, have you ever dug near the bigger cities in America, similar looking places to the Thames Estuary here in the UK
I know tons of colonial homesites in the woods in central Massachusetts. I need to get out there and look for treasure. All I've found was a 1940's German issued mess hall spoon with the forbidden insignia on it. It came out of a chimney in a house I was demolishing. Not sure if it has value.
