Wow, amazing most of us haven't been there. The Philippines is so blessed with natural beautiful scenery. If only the Islands were utilized and developed properly then it would really be paradise.
For me what needed is good and easy access to the island like transportation but leave the natural beauty for future generation to see. I love Batanes the way it is. But if you meant is more accomodation or lodging for tourist yes it will be great Batanes will generate more income as well. Love to visit Batanes in the near future

Nipa is a type of palm that grows in brackish water. It is usually used as roofing material for the native huts called "Bahay Kubo."
Nipa are palms that grow in mangrove/swampy areas in the Philippines and probably in S.E. Asia. These leaves are woven and used for roofing and walls of huts.
Mararison is gorgeous, every time I go there it's always beautiful, especially if you stay overnight with the locals and watch the sunrise. Also, the contrast between the black sand in the main island of Panay and the white sands of the island!

Nipa Hut or Bahay Kubo is a house in the Philippines during the days when there is no bricks or concrete yet
It is made if bamboo and nipa..the roof is made of coconut leaves or anahaw leaves ( national leaves if the Philippines)

Hello there. Wow, now you are on a treaking trip there, Mergim! The poeple there are amazingly friendly and peaceful. It was said recently that an old palace was discovered there. You seem to be not used in hiking or treaking. Hehehe. We can hear you catching your breath in the camera. Ate Maricar seems to just have took it without sweat there. Hehehe. I just can't imagine how tough it is for the children to need to take that daily high treak trail just to go to their classes. The view is so splendid on top.

It's Mararison Island and not Madison Island! Mararison Island is part of Antique Province in Western Visayas.😊
We went there during our Panay Island road trip. We stayed at one of the huts for a night. It was basic but we had fun ❤😁

I have enjoyed this video so much! Love the walks you went through cemented walkways there houses to houses, even finding a couple sari-sari stores. Even the elementary school being up there going up through those steps finding sort of hidden there is just fascinating to me, finally, those kids hopping/jumping the steps reminds me of me as a kid in my elementary school. That mountain (Mt. Madja-as) across Mararison Island is the tallest in Panay Island.
Love to watch ur vlog if u go to BATANES,lots(finn snow,becoming filipino,making it happen & juicy vlog)of foreigners been there and they super love it finn snow travel there twice n he spent huge amount to visit all islands same with kyle jennerman(becomming filipino) he even brought his family during their visit to ph.jl see the new zealand of ph,no beggar n almost zero crime.
There's still 2000 islands undiscovered. Don't know where they are.
After batanes go to neighbor provinces like cagayan.
