He is so drunked by his insanity that he doesn't really care about living. We can see him laughing after the explosion even if he's burning and both of his arms are torned off. Even if he didn't kill tails with his detonation, he's still victorious at the end because he killed sonic, torned off one of the fox's tail (that means that he cannot fly without his plane) and destroyed a whole island and made tones of victime. Even if he died, he got his revenge on sonic and leave his print to this world.

What I feel like starved was attempting to atleast acomplish was a last ditch effort before there was a sort of resistance of mobians against him so he just pulled a “if I die so do they” and just glasses mobius

Became he's so much unhealthier in his starved. Old eggman is just round(he could outspeed sonic for a short distance) starved is just a fat hungry bastard who eats and eats with no regard for his health(furnace was made to cook mobians as he caught them so starved could eat them immediately after) and obesity can lead to several health problems,in eggman's case hair loss
I'm worried for Tails. Eggman is a very physically powerful being, surviving explosions that would normally kill a regular human. He can also heal from thermal erythema(skin redness), which would normally take a week, in 1 second. Fully severed hands would probably heal in months(if possible, but this is a universe where nothing can kill you as long as you have rings or forcefields and Sonic can also heal instantly, so yeah, it's fucking possible) By this logic, Eggman can completely heal himself in only 26 seconds or more based on the circumstances. I don't know about you, but Tails is a dead fox and is cooked(pun intended).
Id say it a diffrent univers from the original, cause Tails has a minor ear cut but he dosent instantly heal it, so I dont think thats how it works, but if you are correct, by the lore im pretty sure that this was a neuclear bomb. One thing I noticed about the beginning is that there IS something off about eggman. If you look closely at his head, his some pieces of his skin is red, looking like the skin is peeling of buring off. This could be about Eggman eating flickeys straight from the oven to the point of getting burns. Good thing I spotted right? Also I noticed that when Starved's about to detonate the bomb, Furnace looks confused at Eggman. You can even SEE the question mark on his head. This possibly means that Furnace was not aware of Starved's intentions and didn't know what was going to happen. Or he could be looking at something else.

This version of Eggman got crazy because he ate some roasted meat from a mobian bird. I don't know if they explained this, but I do have my point of view about why he becomes so crazy about it. The meat of the bird is commestible for every animals and living beings that resides in Mobius. But Eggman is a human that doesn't comes from this world. So obviously, the commestibles (espectially the meat) has different effects on him. When he first tasted it, he started to feel weird and have this sensation of hunger that reclaims more. I do believe that the meat's compositoon has some nefasts proprieties to Eggman/human's biology and psyche (and probably from other living beings outside of Mobius) and it gets worse when they are going further. The mad scientist is eating more and more animals (surely into extinction) until he targets the residences of the planet. His body is changing as well, mostly his face where his skin and mustach are falling off and/ or even rot. Even if Eggman is still a little himself, the effect of the meat to his head makes him more violent and crazy, at a point where he's abandonning his morals. At the second half of the song, he activated a bomb to destroy the island even if he's still on it, showing that he doesn't really care if he's gonna die or not. After the explosion, he looks even more crazy, almost animal-like and he doesn't seems to realise or even care that his arms are torned off and his body is literally on fire. That's my point of view of this creepy story of starved eggman. You can tell me if this whole explanaition already exist.

This version of Eggman got crazy because he ate some roasted meat from a mobian bird. I don't know if they explained this, but I do have my point of view about why he becomes so crazy about it.
The meat of the bird is commestible for every animals and living beings that resides in Mobius. But Eggman is a human that doesn't comes from this world. So obviously, the commestibles (espectially the meat) has different effects on him. When he first tasted it, he started to feel weird and have this sensation of hunger that reclaims more. I do believe that the meat's compositoon has some nefasts proprieties to Eggman/human's biology and psyche (and probably from other living beings outside of Mobius) and it gets worse when they are going further. The mad scientist is eating more and more animals (surely into extinction) until he targets the residences of the planet. His body is changing as well, mostly his face where his skin and mustach are falling off and/ or even rot. Even if Eggman is still a little himself, the effect of the meat to his head makes him more violent and crazy, at a point where he's abandonning his morals. At the second half of the song, he activated a bomb to destroy the island even if he's still on it, showing that he doesn't really care if he's gonna die or not. After the explosion, he looks even more crazy, almost animal-like and he doesn't seems to realise or even care that his arms are torned off and his body is literally on fire.
That's my point of view of this creepy story of starved eggman. You can tell me if this whole explanaition already exist.
