DAIKIN/PANASONIC/MITSUBISHI /CAREER These are the Tier-1 Airconditioner available in Asian region. Rest LG/Samsung/ and other brands will fall into Tier -2. When you consider an AC you should give first priority to the cooling effect and the consumption. I am using LG(Dual inverter)/Voltas/Panasonic in my home. I would say, Panasonic beats both LG and Voltas in cooling efficiency. Even Voltas is better than LG. Problem with LG is the air throw, it;s not as good as Panasonic or even voltas, that;s is one reason it;s DB is low compared to Panasonic. Only +ive side of LG is the Service, but at present both Panasonic and Voltas doing good at service as well. Another important aspect of Panasonic AC's is their out door (Condenser ) Unit. The material(Super Dyma sheet - which is imported from Japan) used in their AC's are far far better than LG or Voltas . So i would say, your choice is wrong by picking LG.
As I said my priority is low db,which LG served best.

Bro, പറയുമ്പോള് ഫുള് details കൂടെ പറയണം. താങ്കള് LG ബ്രാന്ഡ് promote ചെയ്യുനത് പോലെ തോന്നി. I am not saying LG is not a good brand. But when these brands talk about the output (1 ton, 1.5 ton. 2 ton etc.), do they actually deliver that much output. For e.g. when I checked, Panasonic 1.5 ton AC cooling capacity (Min-Max) W5050 [2270 - 5560] is more than LG, even Daikin's cooling capacity is more than LG. And if price is not an issue, Mitsubishi and Fujitsu (OGeneral) AC's are best.
പിന്നെ HVAC ബ്രാണ്ടുകളില് ടോപ്പില് ഉള്ളത് CARRIER, DAIKIN ഒക്കെ ആണ്. ഈ ബ്രാണ്ട്സ് ഒക്കെ big projects (like central AC for multistoried buildings) ചെയ്യുന്നവരാണ്. What I heard is that unlike other brands, if there is some problem with DAIKIN HVAC systems, only their technicians can repair it, that much complicated and advanced is their technology. I am surprised to see that nobody talks about Carrier AC also, being a good one, ഇതൊക്കെ world top AC ബ്രാണ്ട്സ് ആണ്, perhaps the oldest AC manufacturing companies.

@@vaisakh_rajesh369You are absolutely correct bro, I totally agree with you. Here the customers are forced to buy what the dealers have in stock, not as per our like. After doing all the studies and research we decide to buy and item. But when you check it in the showroom or with dealers it's not available. This is the case with almost all the items, especially electronics and no brands are that much interested in Kerala market, even though Keralites are more brand oriented than any other states.
When it comes to service, I called the Daikin authorised service team for my AC. I have an LG AC too and they did the service for LG also. I know there are teams who do service for all the brands. But how can an authorised Daikin Service team do the service for other brands (the filter position will be different, opening vent will be different etc. etc.). So without knowing how to open the unit, they imagine some position and try to pull it open. One of the locks of my old Carrier AC broke because of this. Secondly when I checked the online store of Panasonic AC, the particular model I am looking for, shows that "there is no delivery in that pin code". This is the problem with Kerala state.
പണ്ടൊക്കെ നമ്മൾ വാങ്ങുന്ന കടക്കാർക്ക് ഒരു responsibility ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഇപ്പോൾ അങ്ങനെ അല്ലല്ലോ, വാങ്ങി കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ പിന്നെ അതാതു ബ്രാൻഡുകളുടെ installation / service team ആണ് വരുന്നത്. അവർ അവരുടെ ഇഷ്ടത്തിന് fit ചെയ്യും. It's the responsibility of the dealer to make sure that the installation/service is done properly because we are paying the money to the dealer, not the company service team or installation team.

എന്തിനാ സേട്ട വെറുതെ തട്ടി വിടുന്നത്, എന്റെ വീട്ടില് LG ഉണ്ട്, DAIKIN ഉണ്ട്, CARRIER ഉണ്ട്, ഈ CARRIER കുറച്ച് പഴെതാണ്, അതിപ്പോള് repair ചെയ്ത് ചെയ്ത് പൈസ കുറെ പോയി. So I thought of buying a new one. To tell you the truth, Daikin is the latest one I bought. താങ്കള് പറഞ്ഞ പോലെ ഒരു തെണ്ടിയും, അത് LG ആണെങ്കിലും, DAIKIN ആണെങ്കിലും, CARRIER ആണെങ്കിലും installation ചെയ്തു കഴിഞ്ഞു വിളിച്ചിട്ടേ ഇല്ല. At least these beggars should keep a list of the consumers and contact them for service. അതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാന് ഇപ്പോള് confused ആണ്. ഇവനൊക്കെ സാധനം വിട്ടു കഴിഞ്ഞാല് പിന്നെ തിരിഞ്ഞു നോക്കില്ല. AC'യുടെ brands'ല് മിക്കവരും എല്ലാവരും ഒരേ പോലെ ആണ് Warranty, cooling effect ഒക്കെ പറയുന്നത്, but the most important factor is SERVICE and nobody does it properly.
