I had a garden full of pill bugs and slugs. I just finished taking up some slugs. They distroy so much. I use cornmeal and cove my garden and it rid me of most of the pill bugs
Thank you so much I had no idea they were called rolly pollies I've seen them before but I didn't know what they were..... But I have them too and the crickets and tons of stink bugs and they are the devil..... They try to destroy my tomatoes every year..... That is what the tomato hornworms don't get to first..... Not to mention the Godzilla size grasshoppers literally I'm not joking as big as your fingers...And when you go to try to get them they take off like a 747 I have literally run all over my yard with a shovel trying to smash the grasshoppers....... Plus I have voles and moles and they are a NIGHTMARE 🤦...... It's literally always like a race are we going to get to enjoy the fruits of our labor before something else does....... And it doesn't help that I've had 10 different snake sightings....and its like literally the first of June😔..... All the best all of my fellow gardeners out there 🙋 the struggle is real LoL 🤣 ❤️🙌🙏🙌🙏❤️
For me it is earwigs and crickets. Ive seen baking soda and cinnamon and diatomaceous earth as suggestions. Anyone have a suggestion as what is best fir these damn pincer bugs everywhere?
I am trying out a method I learned from another gardener where she cut a potato in half, scooped out some of the center and placed it hollow side down on the soil. Leave it over night. The next day flip it over and it should be full of pill bugs. I’m going to check mine tomorrow 💚
My grandfather sprayed some chilli-water on the plants and it worked quite well.
Ooooo that sounds easy enough to make! Thank you!
@@TheThriftedPlanterdid it work?

Slugs hate beer. Put that in your garden it will help with those.
Thank you! I tried that last year and it worked a little but I need to try it again
@TheThriftedPlanter from what I was told, you just need a deeper dish. Good luck
Same darling, same
It’s so frustrating 💚

Oh gosh earwigs are nasty!!! I haven’t dealt with them before as a pest
Yep
I literally just came inside from putting out slug bait. Is there roly-poly bait? How do I make this go away?!?!
