Howler is a Bone-Shaking Whistler Downhill Trail

- This style of trail is what comes to mind when I think of "Whistler DH". It's raw, it's rugged, it's relentless. It doesn't have a ton of spicy features, it's just solid all the way down! Fun lap with Braden for our first time ever down this one. Wouldn't want to race it but it made for a good adventure ride, enjoy!

One of the best trails in town. Rides as good in the wet as it does in the dry!

same here and I dont even MTB I did it for 4 days on a rented shitty bike and had a blast sadly we dont have a lot of trials on kauai and I dont have a car only a road bike. First world living in paradise cycling problems 🤣

Man, this makes me so jealous as a Dutch person. It's very flat here and seeing those mountains and beautiful scenery. Ugh I can only dream of living nearby such awesome locations.
Everyone talks about LOTS, though this trail is fire too.

3:15 is the reason I know I'd be terrible and in trouble. Even if I were in the best shape of my life (which I'll admit I'm far from lol), I would be way too distracted by that view.

Yo your definitely my fav mtb UA-camr to watch but if you made the vids a little bit better graphics quality it would make it a lot better

Given how agile you and Dave seem to be on your bikes, I'd love to see some of your favourite climbs. I realise the downs are what most people come for but I love a good climb.
A tech climbing video would be so fun to make!
@@DaleStone I'll keep my eyes peeled for one! Maybe even a compilation of the climbs from some other rides or sticking bits from the good climbs at the end of their videos in future could be good too? Like with the bonus clips.

Wow! I knew you biked near me, but I never thought you'd be this close! My grandparents house is right at the bottom of this mountain and I have walked up this trail before. I've considered riding it but haven't had the chance. Would you say this trail is doable for someone a lot less skilled than you?
Lucky grandparents! What level would you say you're at? I think it's a pretty fair average black diamond. No standout sections or features that push things too much!

Is the clip right at the end on Howler also? Spent the last 3 months in Whistler but did not make it to Howler, maybe next year. Like your videos a lot and that you are a very technical and controller rider.

@@DaleStone I think 100mbps download should be enough? I mean you can stream 4k with 30mbps.
Could be a wifi latency/quality thing, hopefully it sorts itself out without too much trouble!
