Oh, thank god. I ran out of Nerd Explains videos four hours ago and I was starting to feel the bugs crawling under my skin.

I actually had a boss named Richard , but he was an outstanding guy. Would even come into work on his days off to chat with us when business was slow, and even give us a hand if it was packed. This guy gives Richard bosses a bad name.
This scenario should be unbeatable but hopefully the Killers are once again even more incompetent than the brain-dead main cast.
How did they manage to get their entire team killed by unarmed office workers.

Umm there is a reason humans are the most dangerous things to hunt even a incompetent human can take you out also in survival situations people tend to become a lot better versions or worse versions of themselves.

As for the movie if the bad guys showed basic competency and used their guns they could end the movie at the first encounter or at any point afterwards.the main cast is hiding in a lodge while the bad guys have a freaking flamethrower FFS

It's a tree. They could just have moved it. It's not that difficult to drag it out of the way with that many people.
And with the amount of people in the group, they could've literally just rolled it out of the way 💀
Even if they stayed on the bus, the bus was found later flipped over so I don’t think that would’ve been a solution.
Was about to say that but beat me to it.
I'm not so sure about the conclusion that staying with the bus was the way to beat this. After all, the bus driver was later found dead. That tells me that the militia *expected* the bus and passengers to either stop turn around at the roadblock, and that was part of their ambush plan. By taking the dirt road to the strange cabin, the team inadvertently *avoided* the initial ambush. This would also explain why the team only dealt with a single guy at first. The team was at the militia's base of operation, and the main assailant was just the first one back.
In that case, the team was doing the correct thing *until* they reached the cabin and... promptly took zero steps to fortify.

Love this movie. I picked it up as a blind buy on a stupid work trip. The cast is incredible. The story was fun. Love it.

This is pretty much what it was like to work for an actual defense firm. A lot of fake corporate team spirit and wasteful required team building events
Ive never been so glad to work retail and never having to do these team building murder outtings

Severance is satirical black comedy. It's very tongue in cheek and quite hilarious.
The worst part of this film, as a veteran who runs in these circles, is that there would have been multiple veterans in the group. Likely a couple retirees. I'm not saying they would have survived, lack of firearms in an ambush situation and all. However, they would not have gotten off the bus in the first place. They would not have gone wandering the woods. Finally, they would not have stayed at the first house because it's obviously not their accommodations.
They certainly would have been ambushed and likely killed with the bus driver though.

And the hot (as well as competent) female co-worker. Well technically there were 2 competent co-workers, but one of them was a dude and got decapitated because of SJW chick's lack of intelligence.
Actually getting out the bus, hopping the tree, and walking was the best option… maybe. The bus driver got killed so that means that everyone would’ve gotten slaughtered also.

They are went PC. Nerd has stayed consistent. Nobody else would have the balls to narrate the COVID movie without trying to appease 1 side
They are supposed to be in Hungary? Lol I wish we had such nice mountains, though the forest could be here, especially with the sign saying "idegeneknek tilos a bemenet" (no trespassing). I guess they shot the movie in different countries. The girls at the beginning definitely spoke Hungarian though. Also we don't have armed dealers in the forest, and the forests are not big enough to get lost and die in there.

That shotgun likely would not have fired the second time. Double barreled shotguns have two triggers. No way Blondie realizes that. I assume this not because she's a chick, but because she thought she was getting a third shot out of a shotty with no tube. She yanks the first, more obvious, trigger for the initial assailant. The second trigger wouldn't even register for her.

I hate corporate team building trip. People sign up to work already know they have to work in a team. All the team building and corporate culture stuffs are unnecessary.

It's a wonderful little film
I had this roommate in like 2008 whose boyfriend would always rent the strangest movies and leave them at my house. Since we didn't have cable and this was before streaming was big, I'd always watch whatever movie he left before I'd return it for him. This meant I would end up watching a lot of very strange foreign horror films that I otherwise might not have rented.

I use english soo much that I get suprised by my mother language when i hear it, I legit was like: wait, why did I ~naturally~ understand what the girls said? So shocked to hear Hungarian on social media.
I think this film was unbeaten once you are inside the house the expert killers would lay seige to your sad little hut and kill everyone sure you may take one or two out but once you do the killers would probably just set the building on fire and smoke you out.
Youd be so correct If the movie was written that way. But we have this outcome instead. Got to go off what's here

Yes that is the most likely scenario but humans are unpredictable they do have a slim chance so it is indeed beatable.

What I would of done? Im gonna assume the bus has some sort of rope or chains that I can attach to said bus and the fallen tree to pull it away and get an opening. Sans that team work from everyone on the bus could theoretically either push or lift the trees to make a path

13:13 I wanted to think that too, but trauma is a bitch. I have ended up in some gruesome situations. You can be screaming in your head to hold still or to run and you just can't. As far as I know, If you're in enough horrible situations you learn to control it or you get PTSD and it gets worse. I think that's why police officers have to quit sometimes.

I don’t think the term “militia” would best describe these guys. I think “insurgents” or “terrorists” would be a better term since calling them militia would imply that they are on the side of the country they are living in, and seeing as they’re killing tons of people passing through, I doubt that’s the case.

if i was them i would have a paintball gun with me at all times and i would use a kitchen knife to make sharp wooden stakes to fire out of it and tape the knife to the barrel or one of he stakes so i could use the knife more effectively
