In 1953 Lionel met Jean. Jean was a young nurse and Lionel was a young army officer. Lionel wrote to Jean, but for some reason she never got his letter and because Lionel never heard back from Jean, he just assumed that she lost interest in him. But 38 years later, they coincidentally met again and got back together and got married. And 12 years before Lionel reunited with Jean, he stayed at Fawlty Towers and experienced a long wait to have sausages for breakfast.

Such a Brilliant tv sitcom... i will always be biased to this as i grew up watching it was actually one of my favourites to this day i watch re-runs. It's so sad Geoffrey Palmer is no longer with us as it cancels out a one off reboot of them decades later :(
