It will depend what chain you have it on and what exchanges you can use. Most US folk who can't use either Binance or Binance.US can often use it bitcoin.com exchange on bep2 chain.
I have Matic token (Erc 20) in Binance Chain Wallet stuck. Do I need to 1. send Bnb as Bep20 to Binance Smart chain. 2. Transfer both Bnb and Matic to Binace Chain Network(not Binance Smart Chain)? The author is saying you can't send ERC 20 tokens to Binance.us. First I am going to try coping private key from BC Wallet to MyEither Wallet to recover my Matic. Still learning but if do it successfully, I will let you know.
hey i have a question, i was able to follow all the steps into the last were you convert from bep20 into erc20, however im only trying to swap around 0.08 and it says that there is a minimum of 0.2 eth that needs to be swapped, is there a way to make this number lower? thanks in advance
If you send to another exchange from binance using the wrong network (BEP2 rather than Ethereum), is there nothing you can do to recover? Is it lost forever or possibly only recovered when the exchange adds the BEB2 network in the future?
You said you use the same seed for the binance chain wallet and metamask, would this mean you don't have to transfer between the two wallets and avoid paying a fee. So theoretically you could send BNB BEP2 from binance US to binance chain wallet then send it to your binance smart chain network within the binance chain wallet to get BNB BEP20 and then what it just shows up in metamask to use in exchanges like pancake swap? Or why use metamask at all? Also how do you use the same seed?
If you have the same seed in both then yes, they are the same wallet so no need to move funds between them. It's a simple case of using one to create a seed and then when importing that seed to the second.
It doesn't matter which network you use to send the funds as they will all be treated as Eth as long as you send on a supported chain+token. (Which can be an issue as Binance.US doesnt support the smart chain, so dont just sent to your eth address on BEP20 and hope for the best)
Just like you sent BEP20 to BEP2 can you do the BEP 20 to ERC20 chain inside the binance wallet and it cross chain or would I lose funds doing it that way?

You will need to move it cross chain first, if trust wallet doesn't let you do it natively then you could try Binance bridge or just the Binance exchange if it supports the token on both chains.

Man! I wish that I was as smart as you. I can't seem to get verification in the US after jumping through all the freaking hoops. Basically 450 US dollars stuck with BNB smart chain. Sending directly to Coinbase on BEP20 will result in total loss of those funds. You need to ensure that the exchange you send to supports both the token you are using kn the chain you are planning to send from.
Im using the metamask exstension bnb "binance smart chain network" and when i go to hit send it does not give me the memo box to insert my memo and on kucoin they give me the memo? so what gives? why cant i see the memo box so i can insert the mem information on the smart chain network
Kucoin doesn't support Binance smart chain, only Binance chain... So you need to move the funds from from the Binance smart chain to the Binance chain, then from Binance chain to kucoin... Trying to send directly to kucoin from Binance Smart Chain will result in loss of funds...
Basically the hardware is fully closed source (For their original S1) and at the time this video was made, both the app and their QR communication protocol was fully closed too. (Never mind that the build quality of the one I picked up was garbage)

Transferring from ur Binance US bep2 wallet to Any Binance Chain Wallet (bep2) should work smoothly because both the Network are same but if it's vice-versa you need memo or else Funds will be lost.

Coinbase doesn't support BEP20 at all, it's basically only Binance... (Sending via BEP20 will result in total loss) You will basically need to cash out via Binance, or swap the tokens to the real eth chain and only then send in to Binance.
You will basically need to use something like Binance.com (or Binance.US) to convert it from the Binance chains to the real thing. (Or use safepal app and pay for the cross chain trade)

The Binance app on your mobile is not the same as the one I use in this video, it's just an interface for their exchange. So the eth address you are checking for balance, is that the eth deposit address for your Binance account?
TrustWallet and Binance.US. I was wondering if you guys could help the noob out lol. I’m afraid I may have messed up with trying to receive funds. I was trying to move my smartchain to my Binance account. The tutorial I followed had me swap smartchain for BUSD. I logged into Binance.us, went to deposit and select BUSD. It showed only Deposit Networks BEP2 and ERC20. My BUSD in trustwallet is BEP20. Now I am kind of stuck. My ACH account is linked to Binance. Im not sure if I can fix this or if there is another centralized wallet that will be better for me.

Binance bridge may or may not support moving the token cross chain directly, so you many need to use something like pancakeswap to exchange it for something that does. The Binance chain wallet doesn't let you move cross chain to the Eth chain. You will need to either concert it by sending to Binance (if they support it) or use something like the safepal dex option.

Great video. How do I swap my BNB erc20 coins on my Trust wallet to the new BNB coins ? I live in the USA so I can't use Binance. I am on Binance US and I do have a metamask wallet if needed. Binance Chain won't let me use it because I am from an IP address from the USA, Do you any suggestions?
There are a few swap services kicking around online that can do this, but unfortunately I don't have any ERC20 BNB to test with anymore, so can't recommend anything specific other than Binance.com at this time. (I would first try simply seeing if the Binance Chain wallet will let you send it cross chain to your BEP2 address, sending a small amount and seeing if it arrives)
Serious question is swapping on safepal a scam? No matter what you try and swap it gives you a higher and higher fee to swap. If you get more of the coin it says you need, the price to swap goes up higher, if you try and swap less the price stays the same. Is anyone else having this problem?
Just to provide more context, I am not able to use binance because its illegal in the US and I had USDT(tether) pegged to the binance smart chain. Safepal would not allow a swap to USDT erc20 so I swapped it for binance pegged Ethereum just like the video and the same thing happened. It will not allow me to swap it for erc20.

In terms of Eth network vs BSC, no. The best way to work out what has happened is to use the BSCScan and Etherscan block explorer, as these will let you be sure which network the transactions occured on.

Trust wallet supports both chains, so it comes down to what you intend to do with the funds. The fees for this kind of cross chain swap are minimal, a few cents.

It will depend what chain you have it on and what exchanges you can use. Most US folk who can't use either Binance or Binance.US can often use it bitcoin.com exchange on bep2 chain.

No, you need that amount.
That said, if you are in the US, Binance.us now supports BEP20

If you send to another exchange from binance using the wrong network (BEP2 rather than Ethereum), is there nothing you can do to recover? Is it lost forever or possibly only recovered when the exchange adds the BEB2 network in the future?
Basically yea, the only ones that can help are the exchange you sent the funds to.
You said you use the same seed for the binance chain wallet and metamask, would this mean you don't have to transfer between the two wallets and avoid paying a fee. So theoretically you could send BNB BEP2 from binance US to binance chain wallet then send it to your binance smart chain network within the binance chain wallet to get BNB BEP20 and then what it just shows up in metamask to use in exchanges like pancake swap? Or why use metamask at all? Also how do you use the same seed?
If you have the same seed in both then yes, they are the same wallet so no need to move funds between them. It's a simple case of using one to create a seed and then when importing that seed to the second.

It doesn't matter which network you use to send the funds as they will all be treated as Eth as long as you send on a supported chain+token. (Which can be an issue as Binance.US doesnt support the smart chain, so dont just sent to your eth address on BEP20 and hope for the best)
Just like you sent BEP20 to BEP2 can you do the BEP 20 to ERC20 chain inside the binance wallet and it cross chain or would I lose funds doing it that way?
Last time I checked you couldn't actually use the Binance chain wallet to bridge between Eth and BSC networks.

You will need to move it cross chain first, if trust wallet doesn't let you do it natively then you could try Binance bridge or just the Binance exchange if it supports the token on both chains.

The pegged token is an IOU, so you will need to exchange it for real ADA if you plan to use it outside of the Binance ecosystem.

Sending directly to Coinbase on BEP20 will result in total loss of those funds. You need to ensure that the exchange you send to supports both the token you are using kn the chain you are planning to send from.

Kucoin doesn't support Binance smart chain, only Binance chain... So you need to move the funds from from the Binance smart chain to the Binance chain, then from Binance chain to kucoin...

If it's a Binance Pegged token then it's effectively donated to Binance. (As they hold the underlying asset and you just lost the IOU)

Yes you can, you should just use the Binance Chain address from your Binance Chain wallet, so one that starts with bnb1
Transferring from ur Binance US bep2 wallet to Any Binance Chain Wallet (bep2) should work smoothly because both the Network are same but if it's vice-versa you need memo or else Funds will be lost.

The custodian is the wallet you sent the funds to, not the wallet you sent from. It's Coinbase support you need to contact.

Yep... As long as you can get a deposit address on Binance for the chain you are using and the token, it will work.

Coinbase doesn't support BEP20 at all, it's basically only Binance... (Sending via BEP20 will result in total loss) You will basically need to cash out via Binance, or swap the tokens to the real eth chain and only then send in to Binance.

The Binance app on your mobile is not the same as the one I use in this video, it's just an interface for their exchange. So the eth address you are checking for balance, is that the eth deposit address for your Binance account?

I was trying to move my smartchain to my Binance account. The tutorial I followed had me swap smartchain for BUSD. I logged into Binance.us, went to deposit and select BUSD. It showed only Deposit Networks BEP2 and ERC20. My BUSD in trustwallet is BEP20. Now I am kind of stuck. My ACH account is linked to Binance. Im not sure if I can fix this or if there is another centralized wallet that will be better for me.

Binance bridge may or may not support moving the token cross chain directly, so you many need to use something like pancakeswap to exchange it for something that does.

Trust wallet supports BNB on both BEP2 or BEP20, so it really comes down to what you are planning to do with it once you get it to trust wallet.

I sent eth from binance to trust wallet eth address using bep20.. it’s showing on my trust wallet as binance peg and can see the balance.. how can I change this to ERC20 so I can still use eth tokens on trust wallet? Cheers
You need to send the funds back to binance.com and then withdraw it on the erc20 chain.

The Binance chain wallet doesn't let you move cross chain to the Eth chain. You will need to either concert it by sending to Binance (if they support it) or use something like the safepal dex option.

In that case just send it back to Binance.

You will need to exchange it either using Binance (or Binance bridge)
Don't just try to send it to any eth address on other exchanges, you will lose it.

I sent ethereum to my shakepay app on the bep20 network because it was way cheaper and it hasn’t come says on email confirmation from binance saying successfully sent to and out my ethereum address which was correct... is this ethereum ever going to show up on my shakepay app? Or did I screw myself and it’s just gone

Don't spam in allcaps... You just need some Eth to pay for the gas fee on the Eth network.

Great video. How do I swap my BNB erc20 coins on my Trust wallet to the new BNB coins ? I live in the USA so I can't use Binance. I am on Binance US and I do have a metamask wallet if needed. Binance Chain won't let me use it because I am from an IP address from the USA, Do you any suggestions?
There are a few swap services kicking around online that can do this, but unfortunately I don't have any ERC20 BNB to test with anymore, so can't recommend anything specific other than Binance.com at this time. (I would first try simply seeing if the Binance Chain wallet will let you send it cross chain to your BEP2 address, sending a small amount and seeing if it arrives)
Did you figure out how to swap your old erc20 BNB? I've tried with a VPN and still can't swap or exchange them

Serious question is swapping on safepal a scam? No matter what you try and swap it gives you a higher and higher fee to swap. If you get more of the coin it says you need, the price to swap goes up higher, if you try and swap less the price stays the same. Is anyone else having this problem?
Just to provide more context, I am not able to use binance because its illegal in the US and I had USDT(tether) pegged to the binance smart chain. Safepal would not allow a swap to USDT erc20 so I swapped it for binance pegged Ethereum just like the video and the same thing happened. It will not allow me to swap it for erc20.

In terms of Eth network vs BSC, no. The best way to work out what has happened is to use the BSCScan and Etherscan block explorer, as these will let you be sure which network the transactions occured on.

I configured my metamask for binance smart contract per a video .. then I sent bnb to it .. it showed up fine.. then I wanted to send my bnb back to exchange but could not so I thought I could switch to eth on pancake swap.. when I did that it did not show on my metamask.. so then I tried to swap it back to bnb on pancake swap because my balance showed on pancake swap but not on my metamask.. when I switched eth back to bnb the only option on pancake swap was to enable eth to complete transaction.. but now bnb does not show in my metamask under smart bnb… when I look at all the transaction details I can’t make heads or tails of it… Humm I’m on a wild goose chase and can’t catch the goose 🤪🤪🤪🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

What do you mean "withdrawal failed"? Did something happen on Binance which meant that the funds are still in your account? If you sent direct to Ronin, just follow my recent video on recovering lost Ronin tokens.

Trust wallet supports both chains, so it comes down to what you intend to do with the funds.
The fees for this kind of cross chain swap are minimal, a few cents.

Hi, I sent a coin from my coinbase wallet that’s not yet listed on Binance to the ETH deposit erc20 section on Binance exchange.
I can see it on etherscan it has confirmed transfer and the coin is sitting on the address but I can’t access it on Binance exchange.

I am still getting an error message 'Fail with error 'the contract has not been bound to any bep2 token'. I am trying to move FTM coins from BNB smart chain network to BNB chain network in your instruction. Originally I tried to move FTM from Binance to Exodus wallet.....thought I lost it, found some recovery vid that put them in chrome extension lol. What a learning curve. I followed your instructions to move them inside of the wallet extension from BNB smart chain network to BNB chain network, then got the error code, so that is as far as I got. I'm glad I can see them - feels alot better than when I thought they were lost. I would ideally like to move them to my Exodus wallet. You are so right Binance is super confusing. You will need whatever the native token for the network you are using to pay for gas fees.
Does Exodus even support the token you are trying to store?

In Exodus supported crypto list FTM on the ETH network is listed.

It's just BNB, you choose which network you want to withdraw it on. (So smart chain, BEP20 in this instance)
