Original Flavor- Here We Go (Pump It Up)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 29 лис 2008
- Although this wasn't the best song by Original Flavor, "Here We Go" does have the hot bassline and catchy hook, which made early 90's east coast hip-hop special.
Long Live 90s hip-hop
So much soul in hip hop back then!!!! They really had an appreciation for the artform!!!! Underground is where you found a lot of passion!!!!
Had this taped of the radio in summer 92-I was 14! This version is different than album version. Had the album Beyond Flavor too. Classic times-maybe the greatest year for hip hop.
This joint was fire, I remember Ralph McDaniels premiered this joint on video music box, it was crazy! Big up to Original Flavor
I've been looking for this version for a hot minute!! Way better than the album version...
It’s always funny too look back at this video and see that my dad was a rapper in the 90s 😂 I gotta find this album ASAP 😂

i'm telling ya'll we got to still a flying DeLorean and see the 90s again in particular the early and mid 90s, late 90s was fun to me as well but not like the early-mid because in the later part more and more people started getting computers and that was the slow beginning of the end of human interaction.
The goes hard. This used to be one of my favorite old school songs.

Yeah like so many videos from back then, the song used for the video differed from the album version.
they also changed rappers. t strong is on the other version actually body bagging this guy rapping on this video lol. he's the guy playing the bass guitar in this video.
@@RogzielTheAntistar t strong came up with the name roc-a-fella to yell. The remix when ski "cut that other nigga off" and when darrian dash left dash entertainment yell
@@RogzielTheAntistar The guy playing the bass in this video is Suave Lover, the same guy rapping on this video.
Nice! Pump this song up.
and dame dash use to manage them that how they got jay z on the second cd
So i was sitting here eating kd and watching ytv on a old tv when i i seen this its like a time machine oh how i miss the 90's
Okay here's the facts. This here is the clean original version of the song as released in the 1992 single. The MCs are Ski and Suave Lover in order of appearance. There really ain't another version of the song so don't look out for things that don't exist. The only 'other version' is the one included in the 'Beyond Flavor' album which is titled Here We Go (Fuck It Up). It's not really a different version as the beat, bpm, arrangement, everything is the same as this one. Ski's verses are the same as in this one, perhaps the only difference being that he swears. Suave Lover's verses in that other track are replaced by T-Strong's new lyrics where he disses Suave Lover for not writing his own shit. Still though T-Strong repeats parts of Suave Lover's original lyrics that are too substantial to be omitted (i.e. tic-tic-boom). Basically they did a sneaky diss to Suave Lover passing it as the dirty version of this song. No different version of the track, just another peculiar detail found in a Hip-Hop recording of that era.
this old school is the shit men i can break on this shit
Here we go, fuck it up
the orignal orginal flavor before soul left the group and they became a trio
Gott Dayuum!!!!! I haven't heard this in a minute. Now many of the cats that hit us with all that fly shit are considered old heads and out of it. I beg to differ.
fuck yes
I never knew what the beef was?
wow, like 80 or 90% of the lyrics are completely different than the album version.. yea all these years later I still remember them... why can't i find original flavor on pandora?????
whatever happened to these dudes? there's other real hip hop artists from the 90s still making music, like pete rock, click smooth, diamond d,a.g,etc,it would be nice to hear from these cats
hahaha WOW!!!!! google ski-beatz! You heard alot from one of them and u didn't even know it
he did dead prez for jay-z he produces camp lo all their shit mad shit
What's the name of the other dude that used the bassline & beat? It was a reggae artist, along the line of Jackle the Bear - For Real?
this the orignal original flavor soul left before the second cd dame dash use to manage them that how they got jay z on the second cd
