Using ‘Nucleus’ as the official video track I think was a powerful selection that showcases many different elements of the album. There are several heavy grooves and build ups with plenty of blasts and technical fills throughout. A truly suitable title track. It was exciting having a video with all of us performing together that we could release for everyone to see. Having all the additional footage from the shoot I decided to edit together a full drum play through. The energy captured during the shoot I think is on display here. Hope you enjoy seeing the full version of the drum play through and thanks for all the support we’ve seen so far!

Great drumming! However the Sound of the drums are Garbage! Sounds Synthetic, can barely tell the difference between a snare hit or a cymbal hit
I agree. Triggering kick drums are fine but not the whole kit. The drums sound like pure garbage!
You ought invest in better audio equipment/headphones or whatever is causing you to miss the true mix (which is brutal, crisp and on point).
Edit : Insane clarity and separation considering just how much is constantly going on instrumentally.
@@zyxwfish I disagree. His kit sounds boss (one is able to distinguish every little nuance of his myriad of cymbal ware). Every extreme metal drum kit is triggered my man (including toms, kick drums and snare) because acoustic kits’ tones wash out at this speed. Flat-chat kicks have to be triggered to differentiate each note (especially when heal-toe doubles are utilised). Most drummers use a sample for their snare tone.
Edit : Darren’s toms absolutely boom on this album.
I’m listening through my iPad speaker, and it’s easily discernible
@@EvilSewnit Word. You should hear it through my Yamaha system (with pre-amp and power amp) via my Yamaha NS1000 speakers. My house also has concrete floors combined with concrete foundations, so nothing escapes through absorption.
Edit : Nucleus’s production is by Darren (recorded in his studio) and is to die for at volume.
