This is how I learned to do eyeliner, if you just keep practicing then you’ll get really used to it! I don’t know how to use the upward strokes but if you go down then you can see the starting point and you have more control where the liner goes :)
I have to open both eyes while wearing eyeliner because I have poor eyesight and I have to go really close to mirror while wearing a makeup with one eye close yeah not for me

Look up eyeliner tutorial for hooded eyes! There’s a special trick, like making a little bat wing. Changed the game for me.
