Long Arm & Short Arm Sand Octopuses - Cephalopod Night!

Another great shore dive with fun finds of a long-arm and short-arm sand octopuses (or octopi, for you inclined latin folks). The long-arm sand octopus (Thaumoctopus sp.) is closely related to the famous Mimic octopus of Indonesia. In the video you can see is swimming by undulating, similar to a flatfish. This species short-arm sand octopus (Amphioctopus arenicola) is endemic to Hawaii.
