Anyone who does that stuff is supposed to be stopped by the judge. And after the fact the judge even said, “maybe this witness being called wasn’t the best thing”. Another thing is he’s allowed the prosecution to only give the defense a 24 hour notice to witnesses multiple times. That’s unheard of in criminal cases. So yeah. He seems a tad bit bias. And I didn’t even vote for trump in 2020… but the way their using the justice system as an arm of bidens campaign is the real threat to democracy

Even jurors can't shake their heads, mutter under their breath, fall asleep, gasp, cry audibly, make identifiable facial expressions or do anything else distracting to a witness or other jurors. The judge will admonish and replace them if they become distracted.
Cursing during the trial, on the other hand... that's a good way to get yourself held in contempt of court.

The judge didn't 'allow' anything. He admonished her and prevented her from going further with her depictions when he felt the need. If anything, it's the defence who allowed her to say these things by not objecting when they should have. Which the judge pointed out and was constrained to intervene when it was apparent that the defence wasn't going to raise and appropriate objection. Cheap lawyers. You pay peanuts you get monkeys.

Anyone who followed the Darrell Brooks trial might remember that there were several instances where the judge opted to move Brooks to an empty, adjacent courtroom in the sane building, where he was muted but nonetheless could watch the proceedings in real time on a live monitor. The judge did this when the belligerent Brooks repeatedly interrupted and tried to filibuster with the exact same questions and objections the court had already answered/addressed. She did this for the sake of keeping the trial moving forward at a reasonable pace.
Not sure if this judge would have the power to do anything similar, but if so, it might be the best way to handle Trump’s disruptiveness.

The just does have the power to do this. However, Trumps mannerisms contribute to "the show" which is more important. It also gives the judge opportunities to find him in contempt which could lead to incarceration.
Note that the Daniels testimony contributes nothing to the case. Here she just gives intimate details of sex encounters but nothing about any money payouts. So it makes Trump look bad, and taints the jury's perception of him, but nothing else. She has also claimed in a previous legal affidavit that none of this has happened. So its no wonder why Trump is so angry about the whole thing.

One legal analyst said she was disappointed in latest Judge Merchon’s phrasing regarding gag order. Sounded like he was deferential to Trump as he was a presidential candidate, etc., she said. She had a point. Know it’s frustrating to wait until he does impose jail time. Don’t underestimate him. We don’t know what he knows. But when he does impose jail time for repeated violations of gag order (he already knows he will) that’s when he’ll deflate Trump’s ego by last sentence of order. (Or something like it.) “But you must adhere to the law and be treated like any other defendant in this court.”
