Back when fliphones were a thing, I had one where chess was a pre-installed game with 3 difficulty levels: easy, normal and hard. Somehow I played it so often, I eventually learned how to beat the hardest AI. Nowadays I don't even come close to how good I used to be but the fact that this game has challenges and different difficulty levels I can see myself giving this a shot.
I hear and I obey! Now I have Chess Ultra in my library. So it's time to start start my career as a chess player. If that doesn't go my way, I will in any case continue to be one of your loyal fans... in Sweden! 💕

I'd been putting chess games on PCs since the 90s. I had one that had so many different board and piece styles. Good times. I'm usually checkmated in 5 moves though. Now what I'd love to see is a GO game on PC, because I want to learn that.
There is only one problem. You can't save and reload. Games are shown as saved, but nothing happens when you click on them. Therefore it is unplayable for me. (Free Epic Version)
Pretty disappointed by the jerkiness of the camera movement, This is not a demanding game, graphically, and should run smooth as butter with a 3080ti. But its incredibly jerky, I hope they will fix this, but seeing how old the game is, I doubt it
It does work, it launched Steam VR as soon as you start the game, even if you don't have VR CONNECTED. If you have steam VR installed through steam, then the game will launch it even when starting the game through the Epic version.
@@waynestuart2755 On the store page it states: With full Oculus Rift and HTC Vive support. But no mention of quest 2. I don't know if quest 2 supports everything that rift does as I have never had a quest to try out.

I have a problem. This game doesn't work in the online. I see message "error! connection filed" every time when i open liderboard or play with opponent in the internet. My connection is perfect actualy, but this game not see the internet connection. Why? (my country is Ukraine)

Last year my wife bought me GO for my birthday. I haven’t played it yet 😂 but it’s still on my to do list
Most affordable way to play with the isle of Lewis chess board. So if you are a Harry Potter fan, this is a good digital option.

Its was slow for us online, due to problematic start with too many people trying, so maybe thats the case for you as well?

The blurb on the Epic store does indeed claim this features VR, but I can find nowhere in the settings to activate it. Disappointing.

@@rdalcroft3934 Well, not working for me. Quest 2 on, Quest link running, Steam VR running: Title screen briefly flashes up, then blank. Oh well.

I have Steam/Vive HTC and though Steam VR launched and it said something was starting, it never did. Maybe I need to restart my computer?

tournament doesnt even have online matchmaking...
the game stutters and has microfreezes while the msi afterburner shows that both gpu and cpu are barely used, anyone knows how to fix it?
yes, we had the same problem while trying to play online, probably servers are overloaded, we advice to wait few more days and try again.
