@@sreekanthjnv Thanks brother. Quick question if I may. The song on the first track doesn't seem to have a key, (using western musical terminology). I'd love to hear the scale, if there is one. It reminds me of the 12 tone scale in western classical music. Just out of interest... Thank you
Hassan bhai, I agree, primarily because I never get tired of listening to Indian music, to be precise, I have been listening to the same ragas sung by different artists, may be over a thousand times, so far in my life !!! Like yourself, I am also into Western Music, able to appreciate Beethovan, some of the Russian composers like Rimski Korsikov, not the others. I get tired of listening to the same symphonies, even if they are played by different orchestras......... You know, there is 'diminishing returns' from Western classical as I listen repeatedly to the same piece. Not so with Indian Ragas, such as Malkauns, Jonpuri, Basant, Basant Bahar, Charukesi and so many more. I know of some Westerners from the 'Meditation Generation' of the 1970s, who are still hooked on to Indian Music, mostly North Indian, but they seem to like Bombay Jayasree in the way she renders South Indian style of the same ragas, such as Malkauns, which is called 'Hindholam' in the South !!!! Indian Music seems to touch more than my ears and the part of the brain that deciphers sounds. Sometimes tears flow because heart-strings are pulling........ may be something like a 'Soul' is touched..... I don't know.
I started tearing listening to Mokshamu. The expression she is putting in the song gave me goosebumps. Only few can appreciate these songs. It's bringing a whole new vibe.
What to add excepting telling that she is the best among all the contemporary female singers, with elegant presentation with pure sruti and laya. The awardees of padmabushan and sangeetha kalanidhi should be ashamed. I can get away from the thrill of her melodious voice. May god make her sing in the same trend without getting proud and fame should get into her head?-V.S.SIVARAMANAge 71, Hyderabad With bountyful of blessings.
Gods gifted voice should be dedicated to none but HIM. What fortune to sing his kirtans, it was for nothing that Purandhar dasa, Annamacharya, Thyagaraja, Thukaram and others could realise HIM through music. God blessed soul.
no vocalist can cross the standard set for mokashamu song by jayasri mam....she transferred to us, the total bhakthi rasa of sri.tyaga raja swami through her voice
Jayashree amma ,are you feeling some itching in your threat? A piece of my wife's heart seems to have been stuck to your mind- melting sri Ramachandra kripalu.
shree ramachandra song is so soulful ... I literally listen it daily ... gives peace to heart .thanks Mam for giving such a wonderful rendition... 😘😘😘😘😘
Thamadam tagadayaa in Mohanakalyani is excellently sung...loked out of the world...Tillana also is a gem. Bombay Jayashri, congratulations. May God bless you with long years of blissful music!
Thank you Saregama for uploading these very meaningful krities here. beautifully rendered by smt. Bombay Jayshree. God bless her to continue to sing more and more such songs
I am thrilled to listen Syama sastry'Ahiri (mayamma) there is no doubt that Lalkudi would shower eternal bliss on his disciple-V.S.Sivaraman, Hyderabad
I agree too much of praise is given to the main singer. Let us learn to value the instrumentalists and the organisers Life is a teamwork .let us not be too arrogant that we r the best .learn to be humble Mrs jayshree venkatraman
I'm assuming that this is the official release. How is there not even a passing credit for Sai Shravanam and the instrumentalists? Bombay Jayashri is the face of the album, of course. But there is no confluence of elements without Shravanam and his band. Please give credits where they are due :)
S.S. Same kind of Omission was also Noticed earlier in the Albums Listeners' Choice & Radha Madhavam re-uploaded in some other banner which didn't give Credit to the Well Noted Music arranger L Krishnan.

Couple of comments. Experimenting is fine. But the standard raga set by Lata Mangeshkar has found deep roots into listener’s consciousness.
All the music was composed here on earth, except Indian music, this one came straight from heaven ...

@@hassansafi6624 None of these songs are chromatic (12-tone scale). It's just that the scale changes as the song progresses.
Wish her a speedy recovery and be back on stage at the earliest Periyava karunai
