Hi Simon, great video, lovely syndicate, just a quick one,is that the solar spider bivvy you use?I'm in the market for a new one, thanks keep up the good work 👍
Yes mate, the Solar Spider. Great bivvy for long or short sessions. I wanted something with a slightly bigger 1 man footprint for all my camera stuff. It’s a 1.5 man really but very easy to erect and great quality.
The best filming out there Simon .with a guy who is not trying to sell us chocolate teapots!!! Stunning lake also sounds like a great ticket to have Lovely common carp.hopefully a really big one next time Well done on another brilliant production and the fish
Lovely video Simon, i think I’ve been setting my naked chod wrong after viewing this I always thought the no trace beads should be above the chod rig and a buffer bead underneath. Well done on the capture
This lake is on my doorstep. I used to regularly fish the day ticket lake as a boy when a local club owned it. Great video pal I really enjoyed it. Nice to see an angler that just enjoys being there and not taking themselves too seriously. Look forward to the next one 👍
Hi Simon I used visit my parents friends back in the 1980's-1990's in Coggeshall..The friends lived in The Old Big house just On The Coggeshall MONKS Bridge..There names were Moreen and Allen..I used to Walk up the road to the Old MILL HOUSE FOR BiG Chub..think t was and still is private fishing but I fished in the small river that Led into the Mil pool.i caught my first 4lb Chub from there..And my first river mirror Carp caught on the bank under the Wiow Trees In the big garden..So many great memories 1980's-1990's 😀 👍
As always, top video mate. I know exactly how hard to fish and film in the same time. And i know if you make such a great movie there must be a lot of efforts mate, i salute u .. talented as always 👌
I was an original member of the syndicate I remember when the big mill had only just opened, I caught some magical fish and then had a go in the small mill and such fish it was amazing Mitch has done such a great job he’s a genius .
Always deliver on these vlogs just the right amount of everything plus the script and outtakes on this one had me in stitches. Time has flown since the first vlog mate, tight lines and well done 👍
Superb production again. If you want to try something different come back up to Gare Loch, at dusk salmon are leaping out of the water, plenty of flat fish out in the channel, guys going home regular with bags of herring and mackerel 🤘🏻
It's super tranquil and you love this place you say...so posting this video online is going to attract more anglers obviously,so I dont get it simple as that .if it was me I would be telling absolutely no one - why spoil it ??....
Normally I’d agree with you David, especially on public/day ticket waters or places in the wild. This is a members only syndicate and is limited to a specific numbers of anglers. But… you gotta share the love. Many of my experiences in the wild have been recommendations. Agree, we don’t want these gems overrun but to keep to yourself is a little selfish I believe.
Simon you are one of a kind!! Please keep your content coming, you are up there with the best at videography!
Look forward the next one. 9.2/10
Thanks mate 😎❤️

@@SimonMcCabe precisely, and it's not like any of the ECS waters are hush hush. Get on the list, go fish it - as easy as it should be.
