Great video. I live in Phoenix and been looking for "toy friendly" properties with a detached shop and they are just too expensive. Pahrump recently came up on the radar in my search. Surprised to see a Nevada man wearing them.

I honestly didn't realize RST was British, but it is very clear on the tag. I ride a Triump Daytona 675R and Triumph Rocket III, though. I’m thinking of moving to Pahrump since I need RV parking and want at least 1 acre. But I went there last weekend and the wind was picking up all kinds of dust and dirt. I have a son with a heart condition so this worries me, is it mostly dusty there? Do you wake up to cars layered in dust in the morning ? Any info will be appreciated , thank you . Cool vid btw!
I don't have much trouble with dust. It does get windy, and this being the desert it will get dusty, and the mountains will look hazy. Some people avoid going outside then. It doesn't bother me much. But most days are clear and sunny. I don't get much dust inside my house. Some people complain. But they probably have an issue with their windows. Or maybe nearby construction sites aren't doing the required dust remediation. I've heard that is an issue in Mountain Falls. It would probably also be an issue if you live near vacant lots or open desert with no landscaping or block fences. I never wake up to layered dust. But it does accumulate in corners of window sills, in my garage, etc.
Pahrump has sure changed since the mid-80's when I sold a Log home kit to client there then, and even the early 90's to mid-90's when I traveled through there quite a few times and visited a friend multiple times who grew up there and who had moved back. We did a lot of exploring around there and pretty far and wide at times, Death Valley to Beatty and as far south as the Kofa Mountains and east into Utah, and the Sierra(mountains) to the west, and north into the Smoky and Railroad Valleys. Will be visiting a lot of those areas again but won't be sleeping under the stars or in a tent unless I backpack into back country for a few days.
