I love the Fieseler Storch and how you present it. 👍🌟 A fantastic airplane, beautiful and nimble and strurdy at the same time. Great videos you make 👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Greetings from Europe
Wow- - thanks for sharing the experience !! This vid was a excellent 1st person walk thru and I am really lQQking forward to the next 2 parts! The Storch has, and will always will be, my favorite bird ..its STOL performance is truly amazing for then (and now !)- - this example was pristine - like it just rolled off the factory line into service. awesome! thanks again!
I had the tremendous luck to be refuelling one day way back in the mid 90's when Kermit landed in this aircraft and taxied up to the same pump. It was the first time I had ever seen both the Storch and Mr. Weeks, a real twofer! When he left it looked like the Storch rolled about 6 feet before it lifted off. I was inspired to visit Fantasy of Flight a few weeks later. The beautiful Catalina that can be seen in the background of some of these videos was a hulk at the time (I assume it is the same Cat!) and it makes me smile when I see how great it looks now.
Thank you Kermit. I love these Kermie Cam's, you never get to see these old birds so close. Keep them coming if you can Kermit, the aviation community loves you!
Mr. Weeks, thanks for sharing your fun. I must schedule my next vacation so to stop by at proper time of your business hours. Dad was a ball turret gunner.
Great video! Love seeing these video Kermit. Thanks so much for sharing with us. Waiting for part 2 now... Also, I'm waiting for a flight in the PBY that I always see sitting outside. I would really like to see a pre-flight and in-flight video of that.
I have seen and been with Kermit and his Storch, I believe it is his favorite aircraft he owns, and is his favorite toy in his amazing toy box! Good to see you again Kermit! They changed my territory and miss dropping in after work and helping when I could! Check out the handle here!!! My secretary caught me there after work so often. and did it as a gag back in the early 90's. setting up our accounts for a project for work using youtube and I kept it! She would call me late in the day and I was there too much I guess!! Hope to be back soon and see the new place!
Was this not Germanies aswer o the British Lysander. Saw a clip of Hitler being flown out of Berlin in one. The plane actually taxied down the Unterlinden and hopped right in to the air.
Alot of people today are always about speed. It takes skill and a great aircraft to play around going slow. My hat is off to you sir. I love to see beauty in motion.
Thank you so much for sharing this all with us!! It is a great pleasure to watch your "Kermie Cams". As an Aerospace Engineering Student i am hugely interested in every detail of the Fieseler Storch. Best greetings from Germany!
Mr. Weeks, Thanks for a trip in an airplane I've long lusted to have in my logbook ! In my airport bum days ( about the same time you were tying knots in the air !) there was a Storch based at Sky Manor but I could never cage a ride, let alone a checkout !
You "pilots" record the "type" in your "logbook" and go around trying to "cage" (did you mean "cadge"?) a ride or "checkout" in whatever airplanes happen to catch your eye? And expect other pilots to LET YOU "cage" a ride or "checkout" in their planes? What airplanes HAVE you put "in your logbook" or "caged" a ride or checkout in?
"Don't fly any higher than I'm willing to fall"... great line! Can't wait for the next two parts... so I'll revisit your Lockheed Vega Project Update Trip video to watch the Storch in action.
Love all these airplanes not sure why I haven't subbed earlier. Just did! Keep em coming! I wish so bad I could ever have an opportunity to fly these aircraft! Love it! It's my dream so maybe one day!
remember this on our last visit to florida had a great day if i remember correctly it has light oil and has to be warmed up , anyway back in england i have just been to the battle of britain museum at hawkinge kent if your ever in england well worth a visit
I watched your plane preflight, flight, and postflight flight than and I enjoyed you specification report on your stork! I can not watch again lose the SWASIKA!!!!!!
This is something that helps me on model producing scale accuracy in my builds but notice there wasn't a manufacturing mark logos on propeller blades of Heine brand so I assumed one it is a trademark copyright named manufacture or an aftermarket propeller so Im asking what if any reason why the decals of Heine wasn't used?
I don't actually KNOW anything about planes, I just LIKE 'em ... used to build plastic models of WW1 and WW2 planes, as a kid in the '60s. This looks like a very cool plane, pretty basic yet ingenious! Thanks for posting!
Remember one of Dad's 1960s or 1970s magazines, Air Progress, Air Classics, or another, having a Fieseler Storch article which carried subtitle, "So slow it could land backwards on an outhouse roof"
That is a beautiful bird compared to some in museums ones in museums are mostly finish or modded for cold war with rear plated off and the small pistol window hatch in front is gone etc !
I never understood the small tires? Did the Germans exclusively use improved runways with this aircraft? The tires just don’t seem to be in keeping with the balance of the mission design.
Gotta be one of the first of the "Ultra Lights" ever built. The Storch for the Germans and the Westland Lysander for the British (but not quite ultra).
Elképesztő Német mérnöki csoda! Megfigyeltem a háború idején minden Német gép tartalmazott valami új mérnöki találmányt némelyik akár többet is mint pl ez a repülő!
My Grandfather flew one of these during the war…lovely lovely aircraft!!
Beautiful aircraft. That Storch and the WACO you have.....heaven!
I love the Fieseler Storch and how you present it. 👍🌟 A fantastic airplane, beautiful and nimble and strurdy at the same time. Great videos you make 👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Excellent video mr Weeks. Looking forward to the next one!
Such an interesting aircraft. I'm really looking forward to parts 2 and 3. Thanks Mr Weeks!
Lovely airplane. If I could only have one, this would be it. Beautiful restoration.
Mr. Weeks, thanks for sharing your fun. I must schedule my next vacation so to stop by at proper time of your business hours. Dad was a ball turret gunner.
"Florida, the Western front" Kermit is cool as hell and a Comedian to boot. Keep killin it Kermit!!

Absolutely Fascinating Little Aircraft - Thank You Sir For Sharing ALL Of Her With Us !
Great video! Love seeing these video Kermit. Thanks so much for sharing with us. Waiting for part 2 now... Also, I'm waiting for a flight in the PBY that I always see sitting outside. I would really like to see a pre-flight and in-flight video of that.
Excellent video explaining the plane that was used to rescue Mussoloni from a mountain top
Almost as good as being there, many thanks for a fascinating look at the Storch!
Thanks for REALLY showing wat the Storch looks like!
I have seen and been with Kermit and his Storch, I believe it is his favorite aircraft he owns, and is his favorite toy in his amazing toy box!

beautiful aircraft, one of my favourites.
great video.
Beautiful restoration. Can’t believe how big the flight controls are! It’s like a stunt plane.
Was this not Germanies aswer o the British Lysander. Saw a clip of Hitler being flown out of Berlin in one. The plane actually taxied down the Unterlinden and hopped right in to the air.
@@den264i dont think it was, they started designing this in 1935-36 i believe.
Mr Fieseler was a renowned stunt pilot in the 1920-30s and a ww1 veteran
So glad to see another kermie cam video!!!
It looks like the German version of the Piper Super Cub with a bigger engine :) Thanks for sharing this wonderful video with us, Mr. Weeks!
Will T the Super Cub came out in the 50s, well after WWII. The J-3 or the Stinson L-5 would be a more accurate comparison
Thanks mate, cool little plane and appreciate the effort you put in to covering all the little details.
You are the right person to own this
"I'm not planning on flying higher than any than I'm willing to fall" hilarious! Love your soup-to-nuts coverage of flying this beauty.
Alot of people today are always about speed. It takes skill and a great aircraft to play around going slow. My hat is off to you sir. I love to see beauty in motion.

+Phil Langer You may want to visit Bonn-Hangelar airfield then, there's one based there. ;o)

OK. Very very very good. Even more videos like this. Thank you so much. I subscribe. Francis
The clicking is one of the mags that has an Impulse coupling. It spins faster and creates a hotter spark to start the engine
I've seen you fly this. Neat little plane. Great walk through, thanks!
One of my favorite airplanes. Thanks!
"Don't fly any higher than I'm willing to fall"... great line! Can't wait for the next two parts... so I'll revisit your Lockheed Vega Project Update Trip video to watch the Storch in action.
Cool I love the storch so majestic the sound of engine amazing
Thanks for explaining the red T handles function for swinging the wings.
This is a man who knows how to spend his money on things that matter. Keep em flying Kermit :)
Fiesler Storch, my all time favorite. Even bought the 2/3 Pazmany plans for it though I doubt I will ever build it.
finally a new Kermit cam video, excited to see part 2&3
Love all these airplanes not sure why I haven't subbed earlier. Just did! Keep em coming! I wish so bad I could ever have an opportunity to fly these aircraft! Love it! It's my dream so maybe one day!
Nice plane! Thanks for sharing!
A very interesting video. Very detailed.⭐⭐⭐
I wish they still made these planes. They look so awesome to fly!
Thanks kermit! Amazing! Answered so many questions I had about 109s building models and such.
Kermit, love your videos!
Maybe that small fixed trim tab on the elevator is to trim the elevator to be flush with the stabiliser? During cruise.
Grumman used a similar wing folding mechanism on the F4F-4 and later models of the Wildcat, the F6F, and the TBF.
So glad you're still flying your incredible collection since you no longer operate daily.
Not only i learned about this plane, but also about pterodactyl. thanks
remember this on our last visit to florida had a great day if i remember correctly it has light oil and has to be warmed up , anyway back in england i have just been to the battle of britain museum at hawkinge kent if your ever in england well worth a visit
Amazing! I can't wait for the other two parts!!!
thanks kermit. love these kermie cams
I watched your plane preflight, flight, and postflight flight than and I enjoyed you specification report on your stork! I can not watch again lose the SWASIKA!!!!!!
We keep things as authentic as possible to the period in history they represent, and will continue to do so. Sorry that presents a problem for you.
It's constantly wagging its tail like a happy little dog. :-) Probably trying to say: "Let's go flying! Let's go flying!"
Who is jealous??? I am :) Thank you Sir!!!
Kermit you are amazing and i admire you and your talent :)
Wow, it's in pristine condition...great video!
]
thank you so much for sharing.
Lucky man, love it, keep em coming! Thanks so much!
This is a candidate for the best airplane ever!
She's an real beaut Kermie, I want one!
Love these full flat Kermie Cam videos! And you just had to make us wait for the actual start-up didn't you :)
Love these little machines, probably my dream airplane.
I want to fly in one of these so bad. Thank you.
"Florida was the Western Front...", "I never fly any higher than I'm willing to fall!" Love it. Keep 'em flying, Kermie.
This seems like the airplane for the common man. I'd LOVE to own one!
This is something that helps me on model producing scale accuracy in my builds but notice there wasn't a manufacturing mark logos on propeller blades of Heine brand so I assumed one it is a trademark copyright named manufacture or an aftermarket propeller so Im asking what if any reason why the decals of Heine wasn't used?
gee kermit, yer livin my dream. well you work for it. after 50yrs of living aircraft i still have not been in the air.
What are you waiting for?
I don't actually KNOW anything about planes, I just LIKE 'em ... used to build plastic models of WW1 and WW2 planes, as a kid in the '60s. This looks like a very cool plane, pretty basic yet ingenious! Thanks for posting!
Thanks kermit for the great Video o wow a swiss old aircraft mega cool nice day by thomy i am great Fan for you many years awesome
Can't wait for part 2
After the AN-2, the greatest plane! And you get to fly it! How cool is that?
very elegant design
Oh por mis grandes barbas, lo que tiene en ese hangar, gracias por Compartir.
Looks like a blast.. cool vid.
great video
OMG 2:27 BEHIND , THE BIG PLANE "DOUGLAS DC 3 A3 DAKOTA" MY FAVORITE PLANE OMG I DREAM MAYBE ! THANK YOU KERMIT ! SO LUCKY !
Great video Kermit! Would you be willing to do a walk through of that PBY on the ramp?
Remember one of Dad's 1960s or 1970s magazines, Air Progress, Air Classics, or another, having a Fieseler Storch article which carried subtitle, "So slow it could land backwards on an outhouse roof"

I love this airplane ,too> such a beauty.
Amazing plane, I fly RC and its
one of my favorites! Question...why the control surfaces locks? Thanks.
Pretty pony tail !
Kermit has some serious big boy toys.
AWESOME!
4:42 not sure if it's worth mentioning, but is the fabric ripped north of the fuel tank filler panel?
The top layer got scratched, but not a rip. Thanks for watching out for us though. Appreciate it.
@@KermitWeeks444 No problem! really enjoy watching these types of videos. No idea how you've managed to do all this, cool stuff.
this plane looks like the zeniths line of stol planes or they look like it rather
I never understood the small tires? Did the Germans exclusively use improved runways with this aircraft? The tires just don’t seem to be in keeping with the balance of the mission design.
Every time I see one of those , I think the tires wear made that size because of rubber shortages during production, any information about that.
Gotta be one of the first of the "Ultra Lights" ever built. The Storch for the Germans and the Westland Lysander for the British (but not quite ultra).
Why the rudder lock, even if it's in a hangar? Is it a safety issue?
I need part 2!
