Swapping my tbi to a brawler 750 with a duel plane air gap manifold...always loved how good the brawlers looked and performed..if i had the extra money to afford efi..like a jegs bandit, ace kill shot, holly sniper or dominator i would go that route..there are endless options in manifolds and carb options is why i dont mind swapping out my tbi..i grew up with carbs on my 87 c10 and my 78 pontiac Phoenix coupe..and never had a issue..when i bought my 90 k1500 from my boxing coach he had a edelbrock performer manifold with the tbi on the truck..my 350 is healthy and runs great but i know i can gain more power letting the engine breath with a duel plane and feeding it with a 750 cfm..its gona out perfom my tbi in every aspect of the power band..the intake ports on the tbi manifold are about the size of a nickel...it really vould use the upgrade

I'm not a Ford guy (raised in a Mopar family) but I can respect any good engine build, as long as it's not foreign junk anyway. Sounds damn good. A close buddy of mine is having a .40 over 351 Windsor built by his buddy who's a mechanic with a stage 2 RV cam and Holley sniper EFI. I'm glad he went with the sniper EFI system after I mentioned it to him rather than a Coyote swap. A new built C6 is going in with it. It's a 77 F150 with less than 150k original miles on it and all original drivetrain. It runs like a raped ape already, a fresh 351W bored 40 over with sniper EFI is gonna be ridiculous

Sounds good, ill bet could do better. Those big mutha thumpr cams got alot of overlap, but have a big difference between intake and exhaust duration. The lobe profiles are lazier than the old dual energy comp cams. Be better off documenting your motor and having a custom cam ground. Look into david vizards how to build horsepower. 128 formula. Lsa is a huge starting point, and overlap will ultimately determine rpm range, in a nut shell. Know exactly what you want, so when you build it, it can be perfect!

Well I ended up taking the C4 out and putting in a 6R80 transmission in it. I got disgusted with the electronic controller that controlled the transmission so I ended up selling the engine and transmission. Then that’s when I bought a Ford Barra engine from Australia for the car. I started getting everything for the Barra but money got tight and now it sits. Still have the Barra. I have another 351w I may build again like the one I had. I regret selling that 351. But can easily duplicate it. Also thought of doing a Godzilla but money is tight at the moment. I also have to finish my ranger.
