Chriss Costantine yeah, i think middle age moms are a curse to be voted out. Im not saying moms wont get far but really is it a curse? First Katrina then Reem? (I think Rachel from MvGX is also one, but not sure)
Mike Mena he was on a scale of being mid under-overrated. Pre-merge for example he was invisible af. in the merge was a huge asset in blindsides. so yeah.
Voting out Ashley wasn't his idea and he didn't have enough votes to change it. So "voting out Ashley" could not have been his downfall since there was nothing he could have done about it.
Chrissy waited 16 years to play and she did an incredible job. Like her or hate her - she came to play and she did. From day 1! Chrissy: won 4 challenges, controlled a majority of 7 early on, had the entire premerge in her palms, dragged Ryan and JP along, was intelligent, and called "unstoppable" by Probst himself.
Ben was in complete control pre swap with alliances with JP Alan and Ashley, and chrissy was only safe because she had alliances with ben as well and he knew she was with him. post swap ryan hsd control and all the options
Michelle Ullman Thats not true about the alliance part. JP and Ashley gave votes to Chrissy, so obviously they had her trust and she had theirs way more than Ben's. Ben was WILLING AND ABLE to get rid of Ashley and JP whenever he wished in the beginning His sole allies were Chrissy & Alan. Ashley was very willing to align with Ben, but caught onto his shit in the merge, hence why Lauren, Devon, and her turned on Ben. The 2 of Ashley & JP caught onto Ben's shit, and allied with Chrissy, initially just JP. Its quite clear Ben gave zero shits about anyone by the time there were 8 people left so he automatically got 3 votes from Cole, Desi, and Joe who couldn't see who the real mastermind was.
We all hate on Ben, while people should be hating on production, dont hate the player hate the game. I think we can all agree Ben is a great guy and husband. I think we need to remember that these are real people, not characters and they have feelings too. So if you dislike Bem because of how he won I get it, I believe Devon should of won. But I'm tired of seeing people in the comments hate on Ben for something that was totally productions fault
Exactly! Like if you don’t like his gameplay, that’s totally understandable. But hating on Ben because of something out of his control? Geez some people just need to look at the bigger picture
I do agree that Devon should win and Ben should stop hating on Ben, I also feel like the big issue with production is how horrible they were in hiding idols. Say it was to help Ben or to save his ass like people love to say for the Fire Making. To me, maybe production liked Ben or people love to point fingers at thin air. Like production literally hid the idol in all 3 camps...in the same fucking spot. And Healers in the beginning all took advantage of it and had an idol on them. One guy also found 2 idols, but people get mad that Ben found like 3 idols. I find it more that production was lazy or didn't try to hide idols that well, personally since all the idols placed were...boring, like under their sign. Devon should have won and would have easily if he just so happen to not be in this season. Fire making was decided befoe Ben got on the island, and survivor has told them "Hey so...there is a twist about the Jury", telling them it literally the last day many times. To me, it just feels like people hate Ben because he didn't play the most fair game or the most social game, winning from big plays and luck that production so happen to put in a big twist that he used to save his ass. All I will say is this, would people hate Fire Making in this season if Ben went out final 5, and he wasn't in the final 4? That Devon or another two people fought in Fire making? Or do people hate it since it gave Ben the last step to get to the jury and win it all.
Devon & Chrissy made some amazing strategic and social moves that got them to the end and made them able to survive despite all of the advantages that had been played. I wish that the final four knew about that twist beforehand as it completely changed the outcome of the game. It's fine now since players know it is coming...but it was tough to watch as a student of the game.
I've never seen Survivor rig a season so badly before. That Final 4 advantage was definitely made last second because they wanted Ben to win so badly. Devons elimination was just as unfair and even more unfair than Ciries elimination in Game Changers. If you only rely on finding Idols and having Advantages to go further in the game without any strategy, you arent a good player. Devon was definitely the player of the season
No if they didnt add the advantage last second to guarantee him Final 3 then it would be fair. Ben should've been voted out on day 38. They obviously put that advantage so Ben can stay
PsyBot don’t jump into conclusion, every season has a twist. But I don’t blame you if you feel that way. I want chrissy to win also but most of the jury voted for ben so...
PsyBot Yeah it could be argued that Devon's elimination was even more unfair than Cirie's in GC. Production didn't want Cirie gone, she was their first pick for that season. They were pretty sure that Tai wouldn't play both of his idols but were wrong. They unintentionally screwed up. Here, they threw in a twist on purpose because they would rather have Ben win than Chrissy or Devon, who would have been deserving winners.
Survivor Fan UK They couldn't, the final advantage was that whoever won final immunity would decide one person to take to the end and the other two would go into a fire making challenge. Chrissy chose Ryan to take to the end, putting Ben and Devon into a fire making challenge.
If there was no surprise twist and Devon made final three, Devon wins, not Chrissy. The twist screwed Devon, not Chrissy. Good strategic game maybe, but her attitude was horrid. In no world does the jury pick her over Devon.
Devon was a goat the entire time. Can u name at least one person he blindsided? He was like "oh wow this game is crazy" almost every tribal council. Furthermore, he had the time to practice to make fire yet he lost.
The whole jury was gonna vote for her, and then Ben pulled his veteran speech out of his pocket. If he never brought that up, it would have been 7-2-1. Chrissy would have won.
Jay King Hear me out for a second: The game had to evolve to keep contestants from settling into a predictable trajectory. Thus, they change the format like this from time to time. They choose when to change the format before the filming of the season. Production did not know how obvious an elimination Ben would be at the Final Four. If they had responded by withdrawing the format change, it would have been rigged against Ben. Sometimes things just don't work out your way. I can respect your opinion, but thanks for hearing me out.
Dino Hall Let me block Devon: If you want to play survivor you don’t need a physical game to win, the most important is strategy and social game, which Devon has. Sometimes you don’t need to win immunities to win the game, example Sandra from pearl islands. Did she win any immunities no. Did she had a good social game. Yes. That’s what let her win. If it wasn’t for the twist Devon would’ve won. Sure you need skills to live in this game but Devon only needed his social skills and strategy. He worked hard for the final 3. And he went out in such a sad way. Easily one of the most robbed players.
This season is one of the few where I was over it early on. Ali going before the merge was tragic only for Chrissy and the sausage fest to take over. Chrissy was a good player but pretty unlikable. Ryan was just another Cochran rehash. Lauren was amazing and the only thing that kept me hanging on. Devon is overrated but he was fucked by this stupid twist. Ben’s win was so sketchy. It definitely looks like production threw him a few bones (idols). A season to forget honestly.
LOL. It was over for me early on too. I started watching last week and when Ali got eliminated I got so pissed, I went to wikipedia to know when the freaking bastard Ryan would get eliminated and found out the winner. LOL Than I just jumped to the tribals and was soon done with it. HATED this season. Post merge and Production favoring Ben with all the late game idols and the infamous "twist" did it for me to label it as the worst season I've already watched! Your comment represents me , except when it comes to Lauren. I didn't like her. She was grumpy, dumb and part of the sausage fast for me. LOL.
I feel this was rigged for Ben to win I mean we all knew that he was a strong player and the longer they kept him I am like he is going to win... I was rooting for Chrissy to win I mean she was the last women standing... i remember when Chrissy was ready to give up and was struggling at camp then the immunity challenge happened and she won and then wins the next 3 I mean who does that!! That was incredible Chrissy was unstoppable and should of got the jury vote to win!!! She waited 14 years to get on the damn show and she showed why she didn’t give up until she did... since getting back into watching survivor 2 years ago nobody I picked won... it’s unbelievable😔😔😔 Hopefully Chrissy and Dr. Mike come back to do another one cause i want to see Chrissy win!!! Chrissy, although Ben won you are the true and deserve winner even though the jury didn’t think so; Hope to see you again in the future; best wishes!!!
Chrissy was a good player, yes, but just winning challenges and being the last woman standing doesn't always cut it. Kim Spradlin was essentially invincible in her season, dominated every vote and ensured an all female final 5. That is unstoppable
Those 3 Swap episodes made the best Swap (as in most interesting) in a Survivor season IMO. I hated that Alan, Roark and Ali went home, they all could’ve made the season a lot more interesting, and this is proven by how interesting they made the Swap
Tom Alon Vedasto You’re actually an idiot if you genuinely believe he was a goat. Devon was one of the driving factors behind the majority of the vote outs this season and his move at the final 5 was better than Ben’s idol play. If it wasn’t for that twist that could’ve won him the season.
At Final 4, that was the saddest Fire making challenge ever, Devon couldn't even light his fire which was unfair because Ben is a Marine and Has lots of experience with survival.
Michael Schneider as much as i wanted devin to win, the fact that ben is a marine and whatnot doesnt matter. Devin had all day to practice and Chrissy didnt have much of a choice for who to make the fire. She obviously wasnt gonna bring ben up with her to the finale
@@ja_cow_ski i think it's not a coincidence that the flint in their camp broke.. like as far is i know that's never happaned before, so the production must've broken it beforehand to prevent devon from practicing. Also, they gave a bad flint to devon in the challenge.. Devon said himself that he madr the fire at the camp every single day and now all of a sudden he couldn't even get it started? Seems sus to me...
A great beginning but ultimately this season is just good bc of the absurd amount of idols at the end and that twist, while definitely decided before the season, and not rigged for Ben was still just a bad twist and screwed Devon hard, and it wasn't even an advantage for Chrissy like claimed.
Ben's play certainly was compelling for me. He won and played his advantages when he needed. Also, he maneuvered so many of the outs & made sure to look surprised at times. He isn't perfect, but man, certainly top 10 winner IMO
@@Seeker_of_Avalon His social game sucked. He didn't even try to sway people to vote other people after there were 7 people left. He just got extremely lucky with the idols and the twist. And the last two idols were hidden in quite easy places. Easily one of the if not worst winner in Survivor.
@@mitjamackenzie1219 He outplayed and outlasted. Outwit - he had some flaws, especially with his threat level management. I also think (most) of his Winners at War edit showed why he won. I believe he is entertaining and I can still find more flaws in at least half of the other winners.
Oops mb. Also Ashely was annoying tbh. She was just the goat who said make a big move and literally never did. She'd be considered an elite strategist in Redemption Island, but certainly not here.
In one of Devon's interviews, had he won immunity at F4, he said he would have picked Chrissy & Ryan for the fire-building challenge. LOL Now, THAT would have been entertaining.
Ben had a good social game, he had many alliances with many people. The reason why he blindsided them was because everyone was gunning for him. Him taking the time to search for an idol was a great move because he was at the bottom and had no choice.
May way of HHH 18th: Patrick 17th: Ben 16th: Katrina 15th: Lauren 14th: Dr. Mike 13th: JP 12th: Joe 11th: Cole 10th: Desi 9th: Ali 8th: Jessica 7th: Alan 6th: Devon 5th: Roark 4th: Ashley 3rd: Chrissy 2nd: Ryan 1st: Simone
That twist at the end was horrible...it goes against everything that survivor has said it has been. Even Jeff said that its a great game because it is dictated by the players. However, when a player is forced and not given the option to use and advantage that can save someone who put themselves in a bad position then that is no longer Survivor to me. This also was said to come back in the next season....so now we already know that there is going to be some dumb ass forced fire challenge at the final four that can give the underdog, a person who's last chance should be the immunity challenge, a second chance no matter what happens....this twist is worse than the super idol and remove a jury member.... Talk to your fans about twist to put into the game survivor....you might come up with something really good.
Yep I remember I accidentally got the winner spoiled as I wanted to watch it the next day.. So when Ben lost the final immunity, I was like "How the HECK is he gonna win?" Then 5 minutes later I was like "Oh... LAME..." lol
Ben played a horrible game lmao. 3 idols in a row by production, horrible social game, and saved because of a rigged final four twist. Chrissy downright should of won, Ben relied on idols, not on social connections and strategy. I'm just done with the ridiculous amount of idols and advantages
I think Devon deserved to win due to the bullshit twist, but in that F3 Chrissy deserved it. Ben put a hella ton of effort in at the end, but his game wasn't great.
devan beaty We need just one old school season without a theme, idols, or advantages soon. They're getting waaay to overwhelming. Plus it would be funny to see Tony-like contestants look everywhere for idols when there wouldn't be any.
This cast is so memorable but this seasons formatting, twist, and Ben's countless idol plays but this seasons down. I will go as far as saying this is top three cast of the thirties excluding all star seasons.
I still can’t believe that Chrissy lost, she deserved this win 10x more than Ben did. True Sole Survivors don’t play for the money, they play for the title, which she played for. Also I rooted for her from the very first episode.
Dominic Habon yes, like she said over and over, she waited 16 years to get on the show, and she did this as an inspiration to all moms everywhere, showing them it is not too late to show what you are made of. Also another reason why she would not play for the money, is because she is a financial analyst, she works with money everyday.
Henry Ault you're both kind of wrong. Ben didn't solely play for the money, he also played because he was a fan. Chrissy didn't solely play because she was a big fan, she also played for the money.
i agree that she deserved it more, but i don't think the reason you're out there should affect anything. everyone is out there to WIN, whether it's for money or glory doesn't matter.
Henry Ault I will say, Ben became everything he hated about Joe after Joe went, and I think he was a very hypocritical person and played a hypocritical game along the way. He became a sneaky son of a bitch. Chrissy played with good morals, didn't have a sob story, and ACTUALLY liked the people she played with, Ben's "Good luck - " was all bullshit,
Big Brother Fan It was not a twist, it was a format change. And Devon knew it was coming while Ben did not. If Devon lost after having all day to prepare, that's on him.
can someone show me where to go to see the Final Tribal Council of HereosVHustlersVHealers?? the part where ALL the Jury speak/make comments to the 3 people and make their decision? I can'r find the part. ALL is ssee is where Ben won. But I wanna see the actual Jury debate and all that. where is it??
This wasn’t rigged for Ben. They made a note for the winner of the immunity challenge meaning that even if Ben won that challenge it would still be a thing. Plus it’s a format change. It will and is happening every season. If it was rigged for him it would’ve been an exclusive thing.
Ben is a fucking beast. Love his game. Edit: having said that, Devon got so fuckin cheated out of a final 3 shot. He definitely needs a second chance on the show.
I really miss the old days of Survivor before Immunity Idols and secret advantages. It was just much more genuine back then, with the goal of the game more about surviving, winning challenges, and making your case to the team to not be voted out, not having the production team pull strings.
@@jaimeabaya6728 Maybe you didn't watch them when they came out and can't appreciate them. Modern survivor is just totally different, and I think for the worse.
Ben deserved the win. Chrissy did not take into consideration her likability from the jury's standpoint. Plus she let Ben get to the end too far, she knew he's good at finding idols and had better relationship with the jury. All-in-all the jury has the final say on who wins and if you don't put them in the factor then you don't deserve to win. (i.e. Russell)
This is so sad considering Katrina applied since Borneo.
Derek feel bad for her
She was the nicest and kindest out of all of them, upset its always the mid-age mom that gets targeted first

Ben is a decent winner, but Devon winning would’ve put the cherry on the top.
chrissy probably would’ve won if devon beat ben in the fire making change to be honest
Those 3 Swap episodes made the best Swap (as in most interesting) in a Survivor season IMO. I hated that Alan, Roark and Ali went home, they all could’ve made the season a lot more interesting, and this is proven by how interesting they made the Swap
loved how they played the cambodia blindside theme when chrissy looks a jp and after ashelys torch is snuffed. gives it a nice effect.
"I read your face. Thank you, baby girl."
LMAO
Devon is the true winner of this season
Loser*
Chrissy said Hi
For what being a goat?
I would’ve said Ashley or Chrissy
Idk why you think part of the military is using flint to start fire but ok
@@ja_cow_ski i think it's not a coincidence that the flint in their camp broke.. like as far is i know that's never happaned before, so the production must've broken it beforehand to prevent devon from practicing. Also, they gave a bad flint to devon in the challenge.. Devon said himself that he madr the fire at the camp every single day and now all of a sudden he couldn't even get it started? Seems sus to me...
Kaitsu ok mr.Conspiracy, just accept Ben played better!!
Devin had time to practice. It was fair.
A great beginning but ultimately this season is just good bc of the absurd amount of idols at the end and that twist, while definitely decided before the season, and not rigged for Ben was still just a bad twist and screwed Devon hard, and it wasn't even an advantage for Chrissy like claimed.
Proof the twist was "definitely decided before the season" ??
Lol You can't really believe in that having seen so many late game idols thrown to Ben.
Poor Katrina I would love to see her back. its so sad seeing her go! I
Watching this again and I forgot how happy JP's blindside made me.
Ally, Roark,Desi, and Lauren all robbed
Jessica too. loved her , Desi and mainly Ally
This was honestly such a good season. It's just sad that the idol spamming and final four fire making ruined the ending.
@@mitjamackenzie1219
He outplayed and outlasted.
Outwit - he had some flaws, especially with his threat level management.
I also think (most) of his Winners at War edit showed why he won.
I believe he is entertaining and I can still find more flaws in at least half of the other winners.
Ending isn’t that bad as it’s portrayed, this season is such a lovable one
@@mitjamackenzie1219 He didn't get lucky lmao
He did the work and found the idols
The others didn't
That music during the alan boot is epic

Human? U forgot about Roark
Human? And why did u hate Ashley? She did nothing wrong
Oops mb. Also Ashely was annoying tbh. She was just the goat who said make a big move and literally never did. She'd be considered an elite strategist in Redemption Island, but certainly not here.
Human? You hate JP, Chrissy, and Ashley
You're totally not human
Grassy Ninja it's called having an opinion
thank you so much for this video
In one of Devon's interviews, had he won immunity at F4, he said he would have picked Chrissy & Ryan for the fire-building challenge. LOL Now, THAT would have been entertaining.
Possible million dollar mistake although he sucked at challenges and really didn’t do much
it actually kinda makes sense on why you would do that
Will Carino I would very much
The best “Devon” vs the beast “Ben”
Ben had a good social game, he had many alliances with many people. The reason why he blindsided them was because everyone was gunning for him. Him taking the time to search for an idol was a great move because he was at the bottom and had no choice.
I agree 100% he may not be a top top tier winner, but he's a good winner in my eyes
May way of HHH

Lol I don’t understand that reaction when Alan got voted out, Joe had a 50/50 chance of getting it right
5:35 So funny. "Yes!" One second later "It's a cool bro, wasn't me"
That twist at the end was horrible...it goes against everything that survivor has said it has been.
@@toptenguy1 When Jeff told us about the twist (without revealing it) I already knew it was some kind of scheme to force Ben into the final 3 lol
Someone please tell me what the music from Devon's vote off was called.
Ben played a horrible game lmao. 3 idols in a row by production, horrible social game, and saved because of a rigged final four twist. Chrissy downright should of won, Ben relied on idols, not on social connections and strategy. I'm just done with the ridiculous amount of idols and advantages
devan beaty same
I think Devon deserved to win due to the bullshit twist, but in that F3 Chrissy deserved it. Ben put a hella ton of effort in at the end, but his game wasn't great.
Devon deserved to win not Chrissy.
Idols are part of the game, if 4 people are so lazy to follow Ben around like what the people did to Malcolm in Camaroan then they dont deserve to win
devan beaty We need just one old school season without a theme, idols, or advantages soon. They're getting waaay to overwhelming. Plus it would be funny to see Tony-like contestants look everywhere for idols when there wouldn't be any.
The cast of this season was amazing !
Ali, Roark, Jessica, Desi, Chrissy, Devon, Laureen, Cole, Mike. I want to see them come back
This cast is so memorable but this seasons formatting, twist, and Ben's countless idol plays but this seasons down. I will go as far as saying this is top three cast of the thirties excluding all star seasons.
It's Lauren
Honestly, they need to bring back Joe, Ali, Lauren, Mike, Devon, and Alan. Mostly Alan! He was so good TV.
almost all the pre jury got robbed
They should do a season where the whole cast is people who’ve been voted off first.

I still can’t believe that Chrissy lost, she deserved this win 10x more than Ben did. True Sole Survivors don’t play for the money, they play for the title, which she played for. Also I rooted for her from the very first episode.
Henry Ault so chrissy didn’t play for the money huh?
Chrissy played with good morals, didn't have a sob story, and ACTUALLY liked the people she played with, Ben's "Good luck - " was all bullshit,
The tribal music sounds like “Desiiii Desiiii Desiiii”
Twist at the end was heartbreaking :(
Big Brother Fan It was not a twist, it was a format change. And Devon knew it was coming while Ben did not. If Devon lost after having all day to prepare, that's on him.
Dino Hall • Jeff literally said it was a twist.

Ben has joined the elite list of Boston Rob,Cochran.
Ryan looks like that cartoon kid from the 90's band "Prozzak". LOL
"I know. I know" broke my heart
every time they shown Joe's reaction at the jury panel, my eyes always go straight to JP's expression hahaa
Ali and Devon better get their second chance. Devon was an amazing player and Ali had so much potential.
chrissy needs a second chance too.

I would invite back: Ben, Devon, Lauren and Jessica.
can someone show me where to go to see the Final Tribal Council of HereosVHustlersVHealers?? the part where ALL the Jury speak/make comments to the 3 people and make their decision? I can'r find the part. ALL is ssee is where Ben won. But I wanna see the actual Jury debate and all that. where is it??
In the actual episode on the CBS website
Where can i whatch the full episode please.
6:58 Devon is coach 2.0
Devon is more robbed than Terry Deitz and Cesternino combined this is total bs production rigged this
Boston Rob agreed
Boston Rob because they wanted BEN to win
Survivor Fan UK yep
This wasn’t rigged for Ben. They made a note for the winner of the immunity challenge meaning that even if Ben won that challenge it would still be a thing. Plus it’s a format change. It will and is happening every season. If it was rigged for him it would’ve been an exclusive thing.
Will you stop it
That was an incredibly tight alliance.
Very underrated season
Ben is a fucking beast. Love his game.
Edit: having said that, Devon got so fuckin cheated out of a final 3 shot. He definitely needs a second chance on the show.

Loved the music...that's about all this season.
I'm glad for Ben winning but best player was Devon - silent, always on top, good social game.
I really miss the old days of Survivor before Immunity Idols and secret advantages. It was just much more genuine back then, with the goal of the game more about surviving, winning challenges, and making your case to the team to not be voted out, not having the production team pull strings.
well let's build you a time machine
Yessir! Pearl Islands I feel like though is the only good season without any idols, and maybe The Amazon
@@jaimeabaya6728 Maybe you didn't watch them when they came out and can't appreciate them. Modern survivor is just totally different, and I think for the worse.
I can see Ben making a survivor return someday
Ben deserved the win. Chrissy did not take into consideration her likability from the jury's standpoint. Plus she let Ben get to the end too far, she knew he's good at finding idols and had better relationship with the jury. All-in-all the jury has the final say on who wins and if you don't put them in the factor then you don't deserve to win. (i.e. Russell)
The whole time, the background music was "desssiiiiii" desssiiiiiiii" and then Desi first member of the jury
Alan I will miss you😭
