What do you think about the surprise final 4 firemaking twist? Watch every secrets video I have made here - ua-cam.com/play/PL-J4ldj2BdE2McwzPjDDJAuBDHZriyYOG.html
I think it would've been more liked by people if the twist was introduced at the start of the game or at the merge because everyone assumed it was put in last minute to save Ben from elimination and people still assume it to this day like the time people speculated that the Edge of Extinction twist was used to propel Joe to a easy victory.
I didn't mind it that much. A read a lot of comments of people accusing the show of being rigged for Ben to win. I don't think the show was ever rigged, and if it had to be, it wouldn't make much sense with those final 4 as they had 2 other great potential winners in Crissy and Devon.
My uncle works for cbs and that what he said. Can’t reveal much more than that besides the comparison to Paulie’s game in BB19 and even that’s saying too much
@@OnceUponAnIsland I think if you can believe the producers will move idols to make them easier to find in season 41&42 why wouldn’t they do it for Ben? He walked the same path every day and he sat on the same spot on the beach every day and then all of a sudden there is a idol right where he sits everyday. I mean come on. You yourself said the other day the producers moved the “beware” idol to the walking path because it was taking the blue tribe forever to find it. We are not even going to talk about how all of a sudden they invent the twist that the fourth person can no longer be voted out and instead they will do a fire making challenge. If the producers didn’t tip the scales in his favor you are refusing to see it.
Thing is, I get the outcry against the fire making twist but how much of it is because it was Chrissy was affected. What if a player you liked benefited would it still be unfair.. Also Survivor's been unfair since season 3 .. (tribe swap Silas) , Paschal Purple Rock, Fake Merge Shii Ann, Outcast Twist Savage, Bogus Tribe Swap Jerri, Swap Your own players in China Aaron etc.. That's what makes it fun :)
Either Simone is really hamming it up for the camera, or she was genuinely forgetful. Like did she really expect anything different when she came back again? Seems like she really didn’t think this through.
Back when I was younger and I wanted kids, I was in love with the name Ethan and wanted a brown curly haired boy named Ethan someday. Why? Because when I was 11 and Survivor Africa was airing, I had a massive crush on Ethan Zohn lol
The first time a winner truly had NO MERIT he 100% does not get to final 3 if the twist doesn't happen. Ben is 100% an undeserving winner and the fact he was brought back was a disgrace.
Twists happen in every single season of Survivor since season 3. Knowing how to make fire on Survivor is a common skill everyone on the show should at least practice. And you know, if you KNOW you are going to be competing against a marine in a fire making challenge that could potentially cost you a million dollars, maybe don't take an effing nap before tribal. If you win, you win. And you disserve it.
P.S. Michelle [and potentially Cochran] won because of a convenient medical evacuation at the Final 5. How are those circumstances less BS than a twist where you have to know how to make fire on Survivor to Survive?
@@roger_towny_jr There is a difference between a midgame twist, and a twist that literally unknown to anyone saves a contestant right before tribal. It's not like it was known beforehand. He was 100% going home, no denying it. Him and Chris Underwood are both completely undeserving winners, the latter obviously because he was voted out 3rd.
@@roger_towny_jr Those are different because medical evacuations are part of the game. They are known in advance that they can happen. Was it lucky sure, but it wasn't a 🎁 that last minute saved them. (I don't think it was put in place to save him)
I've literally been watching this show since season 3 when I was 13 years old, and I bought the first two seasons on DVD. I KNOW it was the first official twist. I didn't need no quote to remind me of that. And no, medical evacuations AREN'T in any way, part of the actual social politics of the game, meaning they are even less predictable than twists that are intentionally inserted in by production. Survivor is about adapatability. How much effort are you willing to put in to adapt to the twists of your season. Or do you just put your hands up, let the twist beat you and complain, "THIS isn't the Survivor I signed up for!" The entire cast knew someone was comming back from Edge since the merge. Instead of splitting the vote between Chris and Devens at six to take one of them out, they turned on eachother and let Chris walk all over them. The second Chrissy Ryan and Deven found out about the fire twist, all three of them should have been practicing till their fingers bled. But instead, Chrissy was like, "yo Dev, you making fire for all our fates. Kay thanks." He practices for a few minutes, breaks the flint, and gives up.

The most secret secret of H3? The producers REALLY wanted Ben to win...and I mean REALLY REALLY wanted him to win.
Source?
@@OnceUponAnIsland I think it’s a joke because the idols and the f4 twist kept saving him

@@zo_leo8401 This is all speculation, including what I said. I just am asking for a source, nothing can be considered a secret without it.
I feel like the biggest secret in this video was JP showing personality in that one clip with Ashley about dolphin watching then he did all season

I'd totally name my child Fabio.
One of the best winners ever in my opinion! Funny, humble, likeable and all odds were against him. Even Naonka voted for him to win too!
Factssssss
I actually like his real name Judd more.
Imagine naming your kid Purple Kelly Shinn
I would feel bad for any kid being named Fabio
Ethan was the most common boy baby name in the 2000's because of Ethan Z. It really caught on!
Wasn’t Colby considered even more popular?
@@corksauls9403 yes it was too in the states. Though where I live in Aus no one calls their kid Colby, but there were millions of Ethan's
It’s a good name 🤷♀️
And Stephanie because of LaGrossa and Kelly because of Wiglesworth
#19 was on the show? I just watched season 35 this weekend and I saw that moment.
I was gonna say the same thing ...
What is that fiddle tune used as the background music? I know I've heard it before.
agh Desi is GAWGEOUS... ofcourse she won pageants
i always loved Vecepia's name
We named our son Malcolm after one of our favorite Survivors!
If have to name my children after a Survivor Winner
Male-Chris (after Chris Daugherty)
Female-Tina (I love Tina)
Respect for choosing Chris
have there been any time where a hidden immunity idol from a diffent season was played? if they are in the same place a lot it would happen?
Actually Ali could be a new Kelly if she got the chance
3:28 I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.
Loved the video!
I’m hoping Jeff’s comment around the 18:40 mark means something other than the hourglass is coming this Wednesday.
I don’t know if this counts as a secret but desi and Ben are rumoured to be on the cbs challenge
Either Simone is really hamming it up for the camera, or she was genuinely forgetful. Like did she really expect anything different when she came back again? Seems like she really didn’t think this through.
how do i find that ted talk
Links in the description!
I named my son Malcolm ✌
I would name my son Boston Rob

secret 19 is in the show
Dude cirie going out like that was so bad
Fire making twist was a meh for me 😐
For a Male I’d name him David after David Genat for a female I’d go Hayley after Hayley Leake
Name from a winner for my child : SOPHIE
my coworker is named after jenna morasca
:-) I would name my kid Natalie after 2 amazing winners
2 natalies?
@@kool9uy218 Yeah 2 Natalie's won but I would only call one kid Natalie

I can't get enough of Desi. Such a beautiful woman.
Parvati would be a good name for a girl
For male Rob(for my favorite player) and female id go Sophie
If it's a girl I will name her Tina and if it's a boy Tony
Chrissy didn’t do a Ted talk. She did a TedX talk, which is a completely different thing. Her “ted talk” is so cringe
What is the difference between Tedx and Ted?
Joe is insufferable and so annoying. It’s insane. I hope he never comes back
Chrissy was a total Karen 😂
Chrissy was robbed
