@@TannerMartinOutdoors only caught a dink but it was tough with the cold front that rolled in on Friday night. I’m not giving up on that lake I hear a lot of good things about it
Nice video Tanner, I'm just starting to fish Monroe and wanting to take the wife down and put her on some crappie. Any suggestions on good spots? What about the Pine Grove ramp? Is that area full of stumps?
Appreciate it my friend! I'm not sure about spots as far as crappie go. I've never put in that far up at Pine Grove so I'm not sure about stumps up in that area. I know the Allen's Creek area has quite a few blow downs and stumps but not sure how the crappie fishing in there is.
Yea pine grove is full of stumps on the flats know where the channel is and follow it. There is a bend when your headed toward the old dnr observation deck that is full of stumps I think the channel is silted in. If the water is up a foot or two it’s real dangerous but once it gets above 5ft it’s not to bad. If you don’t know where your going or where the channel is plan on playing bump a stump all day.
I don't know very much about bank fishing for Monroe specifically; however, if you're just now trying to learn to fish I would recommend hitting up some local farm/neighborhood ponds!
Just fished this lake yesterday and it is an awesome beautiful lake!!
How did you do?

They hav taken our waters and stolen our tactics..as our group watches from local Nursing homes.
Lol
Prespawn fishing in may? 🤔
Yeah hahah! Extremely high water, cold spring, and Indiana makes for a late spawn..

Gotcha!! I’m actually in Mexico until Monday working on a new personal best!
