Joshua Taylor it’s great just a different fishery, We don’t have nearly as many palegic fish that travel in packs and cover ground like I think you guys do. Summer time we get yellow tail, baracudda and what not. But they are target by boat several miles off shore type of deal. Been dying to fish the east coast never been, I got a fishing UA-cam channel I just started so who knows what could happen maybe one day I’ll be there on business ahahah
When I was about 17, me and a girl I was dating thought it would be a good idea to drive my ‘77 beat up Chevette with a wrecked transmission from Pensacola to Tampa. It barely made it over the Skyway Bridge...and I mean barely! The Vette died for good about 100 miles from home on the return trip. I blame it on Skyway...skunked!! Love the channel. Keep up the great work, brother. 👊🏻😎
Don't know how I missed this one Josh. Fun to watch. Funny thing though, I was always taught that to consider "catching" a fish you had to set the hook. Hmmmmm!!! lol Your a good friend to give it up! Be Well guys!
Great fishing video. However. I'd like to watch how you actually rig your tackle BEFORE you cast off skyway pier. how do you hook your bait, e.g., shrimp, cut bait, live pinfish, crab. Also, which pier are you fishing from? North or South pier? Close to the 2nd restroom and cross braces??? Where are the best spots on south pier for sheepshead, snapper and gag grouper? Size hooks for sheepshead? That kind of info would be much appreciated by an old fart like myself who loves to fish but can't catch an old boot. Thanks guys.
another great video, Josh. Would you mind telling me where you bought that telescopic long handle net? I've looked over the internet but I couldn't find the one that is longer than 83". Thank you!
If you were short on time and did not have time to catch bait and are targeting sheepshead, would you ever try an artificial crab lure with this setup?
Can you do a rig video for a shark slider. Like a sliding rig (with bobber and without if possible) but for sharks. And idk if u have heard of it but a 76 rig as well would be amazing.
Nice one, but of course Chrissy poo had to catch a snook, well technicaly you did but still funny you got one last minute. fun times all around seemed like everyone was creeping in on your spot last little bit of the video. Take care and happy 4th.
You guys don’t have size limits for blue crabs in your state? Here in Maryland they’ll fine you hundreds of dollars if they caught you keeping an undersized crab!
Show a little love, hit that thumbs up button. 👍

Where did you get that net suppppper neat!!!

Ive been needing to get out to the skyway again. But with a newborn it makes it a little more difficult. Hopefully in a couple weeks we'll get out.
It gets easier bud, that first six months though is something special. They grow fast, don't blink!
What time of the year do the crabs usually flow?
another great video, Josh. Would you mind telling me where you bought that telescopic long handle net? I've looked over the internet but I couldn't find the one that is longer than 83". Thank you!
Checkout the Skyway bait and tackle in Palmetto.
@@Saltyscales Thanks Josh, I will definitely check them out.
How long is your telecoping net?
What length of Net do you use?
Where can i get one of those nets or how long is it?
Greetings I like your videos I would like to know how many feet is the rod to catch the bait?
It’s funny how people never think of crabs as Something they should use for snook. Good video, and nice Snook you got w JC on an other adventure.
It's true, crab is a primo bait and thanks we had a good time.
how many feet was your bobber stopper?
Four to five feet works fine.
Can we use crabbing nets with the string on the skyway?
If you were short on time and did not have time to catch bait and are targeting sheepshead, would you ever try an artificial crab lure with this setup?
I have tried but they would never eat it.
Parabéns pelo seu canal mi friend.
Like e inscrito. Belíssima pescaria.
Tmj 👊 sempre.
Hey josh who did the guitar music ? Kicked back listening stuff !
Nice fish - how long was the net pole?
It has to be at least 18 feet.
@@Saltyscales where did u get the net? Nice video btw
Awesome video my man
Thanks Big Red
Where did you get that landing net from and exactly how long is the pole??
Okay so where is the new Piscifun reel lol man wish you could just role up to a pier and catch fish like that in Southern California. Dope video man
Thanks man, fishing no good over there?
Josh would pieces of blue crab work?
Not effectively, I've tried that and fiddlers.
Fiddler crabs work really well next to the pileons that's how I usually catch sheepshead
@@flaminoutdoors9907 They work well fishing straight down but not good with the technique I'm showing here.
So with this rig, do you just let it drift up to the rock structures off the bridge?
Great tips and techniques, especially like the pier videos. Now maybe I won’t get skunked at the skyway 😎
Thanks, glad you enjoyed them.
Hola donde es que esta ese puente

Hey bud, we don't use bobbers for sharks but I'll look into it.
Joshua Taylor I’ve heard people using bobbers for sharks before so that’s why I asked
nice to meet you out there bud. we will have to get together and do a trip soon!
oh and thanks for including me in the video
@@griffisfamilyoutdoors9800 It was good meeting you. 👍
What does ssw on the owner hooks stand for
It's just the style of hook
Would really like to go with ya sometime, just started to learn how to fish from the pier
This is the south pier ?
What species of crab? Iridescent Swimming Crab? Pass crab? Just wondering.
where do you get this awesome music from
I wish you guys would show us the bobbers going under so that we would know when to set the hook since sheepheads aren’t easy to hook!
Set the hook when the cork goes down. 👍
Where can I get a fishing net that long?
Checkout the description of my last video.
Is that the south pier?
It is.
Well I'll be damn! I guess I'm not holding my mouth right or something?!
Yes it's the south peir I ran into joshuas channel by meeting him at the peir
I threw everything I could at the sheepshead and couldn't get them to bite,I was on the south pier.
@@Hurricane_Dan we were fishing for whatever and we managed to catch a Spanish maceral and two other fish but I forgot the names of the fish
I need that net!!! Geez
It comes in handy.

Had to mellow it out after that start lmao.

They were pushing us out for sure, happy 4th bud.
I love skyway but don’t get to go a lot Been over a year
It's hot out there but fishing is decent.
I went the same day and met Joshua and talked to them for a little the funniest thing was my brother thought they were blacktiph
What spot and number is it?
We don't give out numbers on public platforms.
Cook it up brother
You got it. 👍
I have the worst luck there 😩
It can be a tough place to fish. Lots of pressure.
do you need a license to fish there?
No license necessary, the entry fee covers you.
So where at are u fishing by skyway bridge? Entry fee?
Cook up that sheepshead! Let's see your cooking skills!
You go it, stay tuned for the final chapter in this short series.
