That plastic clip is for your brake pedal that’s what turns your brake lights off when you let go of the pedal. What Iv always done is super glue a penny to the brake pedal and it’s fixed forever 😂

The pieces of clips you found were from the the brake pedal. Keeps the brake light off when pedal is not engaged. the brake switch has a black button that the clip you found makes contact with. Put a nut and bolt on the pedal you’ll be fine
you also tack to stop larger sheets from warping or thinner plates from twisting. brians right if you blast it with heat all the way round in 1 go you change the temper of the metal so the inside is hard but the weilded out side is brittle and prone to snap.. imagine dj try to bend a tube or plate it will always be short and he would never know why. robots do spot wields mainly because in tests the object would warp from the continuous heat and the robot and software would have to correct its self so much, so instead loads of spot wields spaced keeps the material straight and not supper heated to change the steel temper. also if you F up a massive long bead you have to grind off so much offf to start over to get it right. and small spot wield comes off in seconds. brians wields plus gas and everything would be top dollar job if you paid for it. unlike most wielders now lack the engineering thought process side and creative understanding of the material. i was 11 when my dad taught me to stick wield we built 3 workbench's with square steel frame base he made 2 i watched then he guided me to build the last one, learnt mig and tig since and only really tig now seeing as nothings really thin enough for mig unless it joining aluminium. can someone sponsor brian some titanium to practice on and we start seeing some bits sneak in here and there. could start making titanium exhaust tip for all the cars and burn the all different colours with heat anodizing, the civic with a blue or gold tip would be mint.

When you try to get the bead to pop keep rotating the tire and add lube between the rim and bead and it'll pop. Works every time. I use to do Mercedes run flats all day everyday. Works every time.

Heat affected zones are not a theory, my tailpipe fell off and broke just after the weld. you can clearly see the weld is clean and still there but the pipe ripped off at the weld. Listen to Bri, he knows what hes talking
