Damn 93.8 dB is impressive! Very nice. Not a fan of the specific DL modules but I’m going to shoot this one for sure. Thanks for the great review!

Thanks for sharing and gathering the data yourself and sharing it with us all. Have you shot the Revex 4 in an 80lb set up? Interested to know the arrow speed with a 475 grain set up and 29” draw at 80lb.

Just wandering, why do you want to shoot 80#

@@johnsand8495 I apologize for the delayed response. I am interested in shooting an 80lb bow as an improvement from the bow I shoot now. 70lb prime ion currently 67lbs with a 29” draw and shooting 457-460 grain arrow. Arrow speed is low 280’s. I am a big whitetail hunter and to date my farthest shot was 63 yards and have not yet had an issue with penetration. However I just started hunting elk last year and have yet to let an arrow fly on one but would just like a little “more” in the event I get a shot on that large of an animal. I know that statistically my set up now is capable of harvesting most big game animals in the US. But I just want more to justify buying a new bow. I would like to see if I can get 475 grains flying in the low 290’s. Also all the studies I’ve seen on Kinetic energy are measured at less than 20 yards and I believe that a heavier poundage bow may be able to support/ push that weight of an arrow at a faster speed for longer distances.

What color is the bow he has in his hand?

Question: when you measure the loudness of the bow are you capturing the sound of the arrow hitting the target? If not, how do you isolate the sounds?

    The draw looks smooth

Ok hadn’t planned on being impressed. Just meh speed and less adjustability. However, the performance and noise looks really solid. I’d love to shoot one

Now watch Shrewd sue them for the Rev-X name similarity lol maybe they should do a quick search before naming something.

Is the Inline series going to come back with a new name since Hoyt sued Prime over the name?

Just as loud as the new Mathews?

22 fps slower than the advertised IBO 😆 😂. Bowtech SS34 is 4 fps within IBO!!

Only at a 29” DL though. 30” DL would bring it up a lot closer

That is a great bow with an efficient cam. It was cool to see the one FMJJ got was so close to its advertised speed rating. There are several others reviews showing it was much slower, up to -10 fps. Conversely, there are reviews of Prime's that were shooting over advertised speed ratings. There is only 3-4 fps difference between the SS34 and the RevX4. They are my two favorite out right now. I feel sorry for you if your self worth relies on matters such as these.

Prime went to crap woth the inline
They were a stand alone company with the dual cams and with that they had amazing hold and stability now there ehhhh

They’re not being honest on the weights who pulls there dampeners out

    • @NMGagne
      @NMGagne Рік тому +2

Not that I agree with it but its standard for all manufacturers that the weight is without dampners

Every bow company does that when they take the weight on their bows
