- Migration is an enormous challenge for both the receiving countries and the migrants themselves, who are confronted with stereotypes, a new language, and diminished opportunities on the job market. The 2015 refugee crisis and the subsequent rise of right-wing populist parties have shown how migration can lead to problems - even in democratic societies.
However, immigration can also be seen as an opportunity. A good three million workers will be lost in the next 10 to 15 years. Migration can help to bridge this gap. For this to happen, however, the conditions and pathways to integration must be improved. This episode of “Gute Frage” explores the challenges and potential of migration and asks whether we in Germany really do have a responsibility towards refugees.

Ich arbeite als Sozialarbeiterin in der Integration. Dieser Beitrag ist in weiter Ferne mit der Realität.
Vielleicht brauchen die gut integrierten keine Sozialarbeit?

Man könnte auch argumentieren das die derzeitige Welle an Flüchtlingen die westlichen Länder destabilisieren soll.
Das Vermögen von Konzernen und Nationen, verglichen mit den 90er Jahren und heute, ist deutlich unterschiedlich und stellt eine Gefahr für die Demokratie dar.
Diesen Fakt kann man bei dem Thema nicht vernachlässigen.
