Half of women are effectively infertile at 40.5yo, which makes sense because the average age of menopause is 51yo and most women become effectively infertile 10 years before entering menopause. I don't think that it was historically common for women to continue to conceive all the way up until menopause. Historically, the average age of last pregnancy was around 38-40yo, with very few births occurring after 42-43yo. By 45, pretty much all women are effectively infertile. There are exceptions, but they are rare. What I object to in Freelee's comment is the implication that women who are struggling to conceive in their 40s need only switch to a fruititarian diet in order to be a bastion of fertility, which is complete garbage.

Eh, I will say as a woman I actually do think we should quit talking about pregnancy like it has any sure outcomes.
She means it as an insult, BUT refusing to talk about miscarriages just hurts women who do miscarry more.
Being aware of your risks and possible outcomes can help you brace incase anything does happen and acknowledging it helps those who have had them feel more normal.
Because that is normal, incredibly normal.
Being a bit more open medically speaking is what I mean, not insulting people's fertility.

Miscarriages are common, but you don't say to a pregnant woman "hey you could/will have a miscarriage if..." You say things like "such and such increases the risk of miscarriage."

It means that you have to take methylated B12 and folate, and you can get very ill from taking regular B12. And then you have to make sure that all your other B vitamins are without regular B12 and folate. There’s a supplement called B minus which has all the vitamins minus the ones that the genes can’t Change into the methylation version, because genes are what create enzymes so it’s actually a deficiency in the enzyme. This would also mean that it’s very dangerous to take in grains or other foods that are enriched with B vitamins.

Cereal got me through a lot of tough times, but I do genuinely enjoy eating it. The pecan one is SO GOOD! The best granola cereal, yum!

I feel bad for freelee in how durian rider is harassing her. It’s inappropriate and I wish her some privacy and peace from him

I would never have a meal of fruit, or even a snack. Even when fruit is particularly delicious I know I need to have at least a handful of nuts or I won't be satisfied and will be hungry again soon. Usually I eat fruit with or after every meal or snack.

On juice, what is the benefit of drinking any juice at all? Even freshly squeezed juice is a whole lot of sugar in one sitting and it's pretty much empty calories. Yes it has vitamin C but unless you're unable to access any fresh fruit or vegetables this isn't a concern for you. So it's just empty sugar and pretty much empty calories. Not going to kill you in moderation but just all in all if I'm going to get lots of sugar and calories I'd rather have something more enjoyable and filling
