I watched this video before customizing my next bass and it helped out immensely. I like the maple necks on my jazz bass and went with the rosewood this time for the warmer tone with my custom G&L. That Lakland 5502 is really nice by the way, Nice playing!

It's a very nice comparison, thanks for this video! I have the tobacco burst/maple 5502 and I can say that if you like ash body, maple goes better with it. Cheers.
