Hey mate! I've been playing with mini bikes for years. None with battery's or starters. I just bought a ZSTAR 110cc quad ( a fixer uper) I change the spark plug, solenoid, fuel lines, etc. NEVER thought to try the starter. It works! It's alive after 4 years of sitting. I appreciate the in depth help

Thanks for the video man! Subbed to your channel. Helped out a lot replacing the starter. I burned it up and half the wiring harness trying to jump start it 😅. Still waiting on the wiring harness to come in but I already know it’s gonna be a mess trying to get everything matched up. What brand is the bike you are working on in the video?

How do you tighten the starter chain mine is loose
There are guides that hold it in place if you have IG you can send me a pic of yours and I can explain it better

Stator bolt pattern must match. Must be the same “style”…also coil count must match. Please make sure to subscribe. If you have more questions feel free to ask.
Replaced harness
And starter now it has a strong crank but won’t turn over. I also confirmed I had spark.
Could the carb be an issue ?

Question) gear is spinning but not turning the motor over? Starter is working fine.

i replaced my starter so the starter is good but the starter chain doesn’t move as if it where stuck what should i do?
Check to see that is it fully seated on all the sprocket teeth. I’ve had one bind up before.
@@brokemexicanreviews i’ve checked it i even hit it with a hammer to see if it would move it stayed stiff ima try to take apart the engine and see what’s wrong with it or do you might have any more thoughts?
