Every time someone calls housing stupid and pointless I point to how in ESO there is a large, dedicated portion of the player base invested in interior design and making stuff for it. It's a whole economy and scene.

So everyone is truly robots as automa created faction leaders and titans (most likely) and titans created humans, night elfs and rest that Also used to be robot but because of curse of fresh we are now fleshy robots which then most likely will someday create their own pocket dimension that they build their own robots in

You should do a video where you share your thoughts and experience on each Expansion "events": Legion had the Legion Invasions in the pre-patch and later on they added them to the Broken Isles to finally add the ones in Argus, where one would go through a Legion portal into another world and all that stuff; Then BFA started the Faction Assaults, kinda cool if you ask me, in Nazjatar we had both the PvP battle where you had to take control of the towers whereas the PvE event was all about elite rares spawning all around the map; Now Shadowlands has the Covenant Assaults I think they're called the two weekly ones. I'd love to hear your take on such topic. You could do the same with the pre-patch events as well, storywise, gameplay wise, (social) atmosphere, the weight of the event as if it was memorable or can be just neglected per say.
we had player housing when I played FFXI. literally all I did was move my furniture that I couldn't use around and afk between raiding. and even then I had like 50 tables because they gave good crafting stats.
Garrisons were Blizzards first shot to see how players would interact with housing. We all afk'd in our garrisons and had the ability to personalize it anyways. Completely agree with that forum walker.

All this franchise is missing is a mobile expansion to solidify it's death. On a separate not I just viewed an add for Total War and it's looks like 🔥! Anyone have any experience with it?

Like whenever I return to FF14 after quitting it for months I only engage with player housing when I join a new guild and see their guild hall for the first and usually last time. The feature was really cool when I first started playing that game on and off back in 2013 but I lost interest in it pretty fast.
Any game that has housing I spend hours in especialy in you can craft items for your house and even more especialy if its like wild star and you can free place and make jumping puzzels or create your own house. I remember some made an ATAT from starwars in wildstar. But I dont think they will ever do player housing or dyes or customisations for your mount. They cant even finish all the race armor sets I think its because the team who designs gear quit. Thats why everthing lately looks terrible.
Housing also motivates players to play more, I know in ESO I played so much just to get thropies in my house and also grinded pvp rep to get cool furniture, in WoW it would mean people playing non-stop to get all kind of furniture to decorate their house, so you can brag about it and even post it on UA-cam, also it is a big income for ESO and it would be a big income for Wow because I don't know how much I have payed to buy furniture and houses , a lot of houses! in ESO and I would also pay real money in WOW to cut corners to buy houses, but still play to get an specific piece of furniture for example. Housing is much needed in WoW , the 3d models are all over Azeroth, I wish I had my house with orc furniture and Ragnaros big hammer in my patio. Talking about it, it also would boost mounts sells because if you have an stable at your house you want the cool store mounts to be displayed there. It is a win win having housing, more money for WoW and more motivation for all players, it gets addictive, I don't even like ESO but I've played it so much just to decor my house

Its the shame of the gaming industry to have an IP with so much lore, stories, real writers, artists, models, crafters, everything that META wishes they had, and yet the 40k universe remains only in the minds of the broken hearted. At least we have a President worth emulating

I don't personally care about player housing how it is in gw2 and ff14 that's for sure. Even irl I don't care to try and match my curtains to my bed spread or find a pretty flower to go in a vase and then put that vase on a tiny table in a corner that isn't capable of holding anything larger than that vase. Imagine killing a raid boss and he drops the plans to craft a end table or a stool or a ceramic kitten knick knack hahaha. But lots of people do like it so add it idc. Now what I would like it the ability to BUILD my own base/home. No like in WoD where I can decide between 2 slots where I want a garrison, but free reign to mod the earth do what I want, like valheim. If I wanna build a huge true to life fortress then awesome. If I decide to farm enough stone to build a statue of a penis with thunderfury sticking out if the tip then awesome.
I miss the days when the WoW forums for the server I played on were active back in 2007-2011, not to mention the off topic forums and all the entertainment from the shitposting on there. Good times.
