I don’t care what anybody says, typewriters are definitely not anonymous. First, all they need to do is take a look at the keys with a magnifying glass and match them to the letters typed on the page. Second, if you don’t throw that typewriter ribbon away. All the cops need to do is roll it back and everything you’ve typed is imprinted on the ribbon. So don’t think you’re going to be anonymous when you use a typewriter. Is it actually unbelievably easy to catch you.

Typewriters remain an entirely anonymous way of writing.
However they are less than common nowadays, so it's not gonna be that complicated either to find that *one* man who possesses a typewriter.
I don’t care what anybody says, typewriters are definitely not anonymous. First, all they need to do is take a look at the keys with a magnifying glass and match them to the letters typed on the page. Second, if you don’t throw that typewriter ribbon away. All the cops need to do is roll it back and everything you’ve typed is imprinted on the ribbon. So don’t think you’re going to be anonymous when you use a typewriter. Is it actually unbelievably easy to catch you.
