Riverview Cemetery - Section AA - Charlottesville, VA

I decided in November, 2022 to begin to attempt to film all of Riverview Cemetery. Here's a small piece. Founded in 1892, Riverview Cemetery is a private cemetery located in the Woolen Mills section of Charlottesville, Virginia. Find A Grave lists over 9700 memorials, Wikipedia 12,000; there are certainly unmarked graves. There's still plenty of room in this active cemetery.

I film cemeteries, graveyards, church yards, nature, and other places I find interesting. Cemeteries are beautiful, peaceful places to reflect and I want to help preserve the the way they looked at a certain time. I contribute regularly to Find A Grave and I've been thanked numerous times by relatives and researchers for documenting places they may not be able to visit. I mean no disrespect and sometimes spend time tidying up places that don't necessarily receive it on a regular basis.

Thanks for the visit to one of my aunts and uncle’s graves,
I have several family members, friends and acquaintances buried there,
I too one of these days will be overlooking the river there

Riverview is lovely and on my short list as well. Hopefully we both have many years left!
