Thank you for this beautiful tribute to those who have left us. Many are my wife’s uncles, aunts and cousins. The headstone with the red flowers seen toward the end (around 9:12) is my only grandchild, Jericho Lee Wall. Memory eternal, Little Buddy.

Beautiful video, thank you! This is my husbands families graveyard, he is a Cave. His father (who died) use to tell the story of the government buying the property thru eminent domain to build the Blue Ridge Parkway, however the family didnt want the graves disturbed so the government agreed to keep the graves in place and care for the grave yard. I am pretty sure this was his father parents farm property before the eminent domain purchase. we only been there once but hope to visit it again.

2:27 I'm currently working to locate a grave of a Confederate States Army soldier. I appreciated seeing a grave of this era so well kept. Thanks for your ongoing video series.

These are all my kin folks, my great grandmother and all her family is there from Bacon Hollar she's placed beside her baby that passed away

This is the University where Leslie Bibb went to study before quiting one semester and going to study in New York City. In this university's hospital also her cousin brother( James Ray Bibb) and his dad ( Charles Clinton Bibb) died in.

The farm that can be seen is the Maupin Family Farm. The Maupin family donated the land for Mount Moriah Methodist Church in the early 1800s. The first Gabriel Maupin came to America from France as a French Hugonot in the 1600s, he ran a tavern in Williamsburg and his sons/grandsons moved to Albemarle County in the 1700s. As you might guess, I am a descendant. I have many relatives buried in Mount Moriah.

My Grandmother went to this church and she is buried there. I have been to see her stone some yrs ago all of her family and her son is all from VA I 'am from VA but I moved out of state and I want to get her a new stone her stone is so faded and I'am sad that no one has replaced her faded out stone. I see you looked at my Gmothers stone her stone is so faded out.

There are other Haden family graves east of the dog park headed towards the trails that are really overgrown and could use attention as of 8/22/2024. Right near the Sandy Beach Trail.

I visited this cemetery recently and was struck by all of the white crosses too.. have been trying to find out more about them but coming up short so far.

So haunting. They died a long time ago but you feel like they're still there.

Bobby O' Neal Bibb's visitation happened at the Preston Parr funeral home on 2nd April 1977 from 7 to 9pm Saturday and his funeral service happened at the Calvary Baptist Church Lovingston at 2pm Sunday 3rd April 1977 before being interred at Bethel of the Brethren Church cemetry. I feel bad when websites say that Leslie's dad is unknown , it's like they didn't care that he was Leslie's true love and he died to soon.

Your music sucks and is very annoying. I have been waiting to see terrace J, but you have been all around it and in no particular order. Also some videos show which terrace will be seen, while others dont show anything. Very inconsistant, and annoying.
