I go through this all the time. It’s not as reason as it looks. But of course you persevered and wound up with another fabulous creation. Way to go, girl!
It is refreshing to watch an artist who isn’t afraid to share the struggle. We all have paintings that challenge and frustrate us and watching you through this process was inspiring and reaffirming. For the record, I really like the final piece. ❤
Thanks Susan, I agree even for me to share this piece was so worth it regardless of the result because all I ever wanted for my channel was to keep it real and if that inspires people then it's a win win! Sometimes I forget the vision of my channel, thanks for reminding me!
Definitely can relate!!! Everyday is trial and error for me so what ur explaining is how my everyday is painting but i love it more than anything ive ever done and and this is the only thing in my life that I don't want to be predictable!!! Shared your video with my subscribers!!
Love your fearlessness! You inspire me to say “WTF, why not?” However, to answer your question, abstract is hard and to do it well is probably just as hard a realism. For the record, I have yet to master either! Love watching your evolution as an artist!!!
I can definitely relate! Some days everything you do is sh*tty but every day is a new day and start. You were definitely doing a freestyle on this and in the end you got a great piece. ❤
Tiffany, I think you could pull old burlap out of the rubbish heap and make it something that looks gallery worthy! I've been here so many times and you inspire me to not give up. I'm going to pull my muddy canvases out and start again. Thank you for showing the struggley parts and keeping it real!!! ❤
Can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone through the same thing. So refreshing to see an artist show these moments and not just all the wins. Thank you thank you.!!!!!
It funny, when I started my channel I was just learning how to paint and I said I would post everything regardless if it turned out or not. I have learned over time how to embellish and fix the ones that don't turn out or I cover them in tinfoil and start over 😉
Been there. Done it before. It’s within these moments where we have break throughs. We either elevate or we humble ourselves. This canvas not only took you on a journey but your viewers as well. The ends results are nothing shy of spectacular! ❤️
It's always great to watch an artist unafraid to show up! Thanks for showing up! I am so inexperienced at this that this would be my everyday, without the successful outcome at the end. Those successful outcomes at this point are rare and treasured the more for it! I especially fall in awe of you fearless artists, that show up and show the real!
Thanks so much, you know when I was just starting I would have appreciated knowing that not every piece someone creates is a success no matter how long they've been at it. The only difference between now and when I first started are things I've learned along the way so I can pivot when something isn't working as expected 😉
Ha Ha Ha ! Tiffany, I think you have all the guts in the world . First to show how you were not inspired at all and then when you didn't have anything to loose, well the magic happenned! I like the end results . It really looks cool . Having no real intentions made that you just went with the present moment at that s fun to watch. Let the inspiration Murge !!!🤣
You know maybe that's what frustrated with fluid art, it was too much up front thought for colour combinations, consistencies, technique there was zero margin for error. You always have to pour with intention.....hmm thanks Manon!
I wish it was like that everytime I paint. I think because I started as a fluid artist I always had to have the end in mind because each technique required its own unique consistency and how the colours would play together. I'm slowly retraining my mind to approach my art differently, I hope to get there eventually!
Watching you painting today, two songs by singer Sia came to mind: Unstoppable and Don't Give Up... I love it!!! You are an inspiration to me and I'm sure to others as well. 🥰
Thank you so much, I so wish we could use copyright music in our videos because you're right those 2 songs really resonate with the making of this piece!
You're killin me Tiffany, 🤣 this is exactly why I love you!! This is exactly what I do, by the end I'm exhausted. I'll loan you my squeegee. I bet your arm got a work out. I think this turned out really awesome!! I knew you would create something beautiful. Don't judge yourself, I love this Tiffany. This wasn't a fail at all❣
Absolutely relate. Really enjoyed watching you struggle. 😅 No, honestly it was fascinating to watch the process and it turned out brilliantly. I really liked it when you had the powdery pink and blue too. 😊
I wish my best piece could turn out half as good as your worse piece! You’ve absolutely evolved into one of the most incredible artists and I’ve loved watching your transformation from the very beginning! Much love my friend!🤗💕 **oh and somehow you stopped showing up on my notifications so while thinking of you and wondering where you’ve been, I purposely came to your channel and realized, you’ve been here all along and have been busy soo…needless to say, my butt is now numb from just sitting and binge watching what I’ve missed! 😂
You are NOT alone!! And now I feel better too. 😂 I’m going through paintings right now that I’ve done over the last few years and pulled to worst to see what I can do to salvage them, or try anyway. Love your channel!
Holy Cow! Been there done that, and really feel for you. I guess i never persevered that long , so the few that went nowhere were always destroyed cuz i could not stand to look at the mess. There were only a few cuz it’s too discouraging to try abstract art since i am a realistic wildlife painter. But i look to you experts to help me evolve into a contemporary nature artist. I am happy to see you arrived at an interesting design in the end. You got your mojo back again! You are always informative and entertaining. I look for a Tiffany fix every few days. Thanks. Sorry for the novel.
I think so too, I'm glad I kept going, even tough it's not my favorite painting, I would have never learned to use the sponge to expose the paint underneath.
Yes and yes! I just pulled out a piece I got so fed up I stuck way back in the closet 3 years ago!🤣 I am hoping I find a direction to go now. Not sure how much paint I have on it now🙃
I love it. It looks great! I'm in the process of a painting that I've scraped twice now. I'm trusting that my crazy process will at some point turn out and if not oh well I'll just keep trying. I've been doing that now for 15 yrs.
Oh my Tiffany you are indeed funny but I guess I didn't word that right. Not 15 yrs on one canvas but my process has been the same for 15 yrs , try scrape and try again till you get what you want.
You know I agree, regardless of any intention towards what I want to create .... that time spent creating even something crappy is the best, getting lost in the moment and forgetting the world outside 🤗
Lol. I just pretty much did the same thing … but you carried on and made it beautiful. I on the other hand gave up and only managed to cover a canvas with a lot of paint ! Lol. Persevere girl!
Canvases are so expensive, I just couldn't wrap my head around not trying to save it, so here we are. I hope it gave you some ideas as to what to do when things don't go as planned .... which for me is almost every piece I create 😉
@@TiffanyRemijnArt yes they are. So I love your art work. I will persevere and get my creative juices going again. ( my husband had a heart attack and now shingles) so I haven’t painted much this past year. So here’s 🤞. ♥️
I would have stopped a lot earlier had I not had those odd shaped blue blobs that I had to deal with. So now you know I'm no where near creating anything in magenta yet 🤪
Definitely not on your own in this. Every artist has shitty days. I have shitty weeks! But then whoooosh out comes a success. Worth the shitty days indeed 👍🏽
Can anyone relate? Tell me in the comments so I don't feel so alone!!! 😂

Thanks Andrea, I'm excited to apply some of my Bob Ross Happy Accidents in this one 😉

And to be honest it came out gorgeous Tiff! I love it!
Thanks Brenda!
Thanks so much for sharing both your experience and my video 💕
@@TiffanyRemijnArt Of course Tiff , your welcome and I appreciate your honesty and for being here to share it

Thank so much Kim and you know I learn more from the crazy randomness than a success piece of art.
Intuitive pieces don’t need any explanation. Comes from your soul. Thanks Tiff!! In the end…it’s gorgeous!! Love the collage
I'm loving the Tim Holtz collage paper ... its like tissue paper, super cool! 😘

I think it turned out fabulous!! Love all the different textures and layers of color. The flowers are my favorite!! ❤❤❤
Thanks Michelle, I kinda like my impromptu 'floral bouquet' 😉
I think sometimes an artist just needs to play with the paint on canvas until it speaks and it inspires the imagination
