When you’re in Storm Peaks you might as well fly around and check for the Time-Lost Porto Drake.
I would just camp that mount, easier to get it that way

Drove myself insane on the North wind Drake. 460 tries, 5 times a day. Wasn't even excited when it dropped lol
i have over 800 Tries on Al'ars Ashes. I played private Servers just to own it lol
That's why farming mounts is BS, you will probably only use like 5 on regular basis, do achievements, that's where the fun is
You can fly directly to Mechagon for Alliance character. For Horde character, they get a submarine ride if they did the Mechagon's introduction quest. If they haven't, they can pop up in Stormsong Valley and fly there as well. The Uldum/Vale rares spawn time rate is about 20-40 minutes.
Pretty sure Ishak and Rotfeaster have a longer respawn

Got Raven Lord at around midnight one evening, super happy. Made my way over to ZG for both mounts and got the Zulian Panther not 15 minutes after Raven Lord lol

Nope not forgotten, Huolon doesnt have a daily lockout, you can sit and kill it all day for the mount.

I have tested flying straight to Mechagon. It works fine.
Would also like to confirm that you can get the mounts on non-max level toons. Rustfeather mount dropped for my 114 priest. Took close to 300 attempts, but it does drop.

You didn't mention the ivory serpent though that is up during mogu invasions only and need to be wrangled with the Lasso.
That's not a daily attempt mount so was left out on purpose

There’s also the cata heroic dungeon ones like Stonecore and Vortex Pinnacle, but I remember you did videos about those years ago haha
Those dont quite count either as you can just farm them on Normal with no daily lockout and still have a chance a the mounts

I'll never get over not getting Swift Zullian Tiger, i farmed that thing for a year. saw Razzashi Raptor drop multiple times.
Mine is the opposite. I got the tiger relatively quickly but the raptor hasn’t dropped for me at all in over two years 😢
Ahh, argus.. since your argus video ive managed to get ALL the open world mounts. Feels good. 😊
Still missing the achievment mount from argus and the mythic argus one though. But Ill wait until it becomes trivial. Its so nice to just farm mounts with your brain turned off. :p
I did all the quests and campaign quests but i still don't have an option for the daily quest at storm peaks. Do get the white bear mount

I get burnout just by watching this video. So fucking many tasks to do in this game. fly to argus ship to tanan walk to hillsbrad sleep with kadgar and easy, you made sure that you have to do it atleast 100 more times to maybe get a mount, that you never get.
Al'ars Ashes have made me quit the game 3 times for long. In Wotlk. Missed whole cata. In Mop. Missed whole Wod. and in Legion. missed whole BFA. Now i am back

you can fly to mechagon from kul tiras if you have bfa flying

That's an edited in image, although an addon called Rarity will do similar.

Well I have my mount website in the works, once its launched a future feature id like is an interactive map showing the mount locations, will be a while away but eh something to look forward to I guess

Think you forgot the Cata heroic drops, one from Vortex Pinnacle and one from Stonecore
Nope, those can be farmed on Normal which doesnt have a daily lockout and still have the same drop chance for the mounts

i think u can do vortex pinnancle daily for the drake of the north wind
Vortex Pinnacle you can farm infinitely on Normal so doesn't quite make the criteria for this list

@@morfeoraikonen What do you mean by it doesnt work? If you do /raven does nothing happen? If it does then it's a case of setting it up to how you want it. The Short Buffs are the ones that I have above my unit frames

Does anyone know how the argus rare rotation works?
How do I know which zone is in rotation
The three zones are all tied together essentially. All three will always have rares in them, the rare sets that can be up are preset but no website tracks which sets have been up anymore so its a guessing game as to what set of rares will be up next.
@@Syiler Hmmm, this sucks since I'm still missing 2 mounts from rare drops
You can check if the relevant rare is a WQ, then kill it with any alts you have, which has the benefit of being able to check if it's up just from the map. Otherwise you just have to go check if the rare is up. When I was farming these I had half a dozen alts and I'd just drop everything and run all my alts over to Argus whenever the rare I needed was up 😂

Ooh, also if you can figure out what time they rotate it's helpful (in my time zone it was 1/5/9am & pm, but it changes with daylight saving time 😐)
what about the stonecore mount?
You can farm vortex pinnancle and stonecore on normal for their mounts without a daily lockout and it has the same drop rate

Nope not missed, those arent daily attempt. Once you kill them you have to wait for the Warfront to cycle back to Patrolling which can take multiple days depending on its current stage.

Nope, VP and Stonecore can be farmed on Normal and still have the same drop chance for the mount so you arent limited to a daily lockout

Not true regarding the Vale mounts quest requirements. I farmed all the rares on all my alts and most didn't and still dont have any legendary cloak quest progress.
Huh must have changed, I was trying after 8.3 launched and Vale was stuck in the original version, I had to progress past the Uldum assault quest to unlock the Vale phase. I'll check again

And then this character gyazo.com/d28ebfc4ab4d3cb5f041b5ea9879084e this has essences unlocked just hasnt touched the 8.3 cloak questline and can't see the vale phasing either, no Zidormi available to swap phasing.

Violet Spellwing it was the Ahead of the Curve Legion mount for Antorus. Unfortunately not available anymore.

You missed the warfront mounts from BFA
Nope not missed, those arent daily attempt. Once you kill them you have to wait for the Warfront to cycle back to Patrolling which can take multiple days depending on its current stage.

if you as a bh hunter taim the raven lord boss it will respawn and you can abanden the pet "anzu " then taim again and the loot getting send to you so you will get that monut within 1 h 100% chance its an old exploit but ye you can get that mount that way...

Those aren't daily lockout, they are weird and can only be killed once per Warfront cycle. So every time you kill one you have to wait a week+ to kill it again. So doesn't fit the daily to-do list

Forgot Slabhide mount in stonecore!
Not forgotten, you can farm Slabhide on Normal and still get the mount so it doesnt have a proper daily lockout.
But why would you mindlessly farm mounts?...
What about the Arathi And Darkshore Rares?;
They aren't daily lockouts but instead tied to the Warfront cycle. You can only kill them once per cycle and have to wait for it to return to Patrolling again to have another chance which can take 7 days+
