Good Job I think the guys at Johnn Deere Engineers need to work on stuff before they do what they do so they see how hard it is in small places to change the blades. You got some really good closeups chopping today and looks good.
I am confused. When you were explaining what you thought the problem was you pointed to what you said was the kernel processor. Everything I have seen shows that the processor has to be removed when not doing corn silage. That surely couldn't help the passage of the triticale. Glad you got it to work. Looked as if the triticale was partially headed out. That wouldn't help the feed value. The best triticale should be cut in the flag leaf stage and that's before the head is even in the boot.
It was after the kernel processor it was getting plugged. You should pull the kernel processor but we just open it up because it was only 9 acres. We should have cut it about a week before but we were finishing planting first. It still tested to make good feed.
You can lift the kp and install the longer panel in less than half hour. I guess we've never tried to run to triticale t through the kp. Looks like it's got the job done
again as always, enjoyed the video. I think a big ole guy like you deserves a pat on the back for crawling down in a little rat hole like you did to fix the blades. Sorry they didn't do therir job properly so you would not have to do that. Trevor you are just good at everything. (except making it rain ) Every video I watch, kinda keep my eye out for your truck, and it is always there. I know it means nothing really but I am so proud of you and the great job you do what ever it is. I can really see how hard you work. thanks again, until the next one.

Nice bag of feed. 10th generation farmer and his dad grow triticale and bag it for their dairy cows also.
I watch him occasional, and they have a nice setup there.
