So.... I spent the last month editing this.. Why has it taken me so long??? I honestly have no idea lmao. I've started countless Reign edits and always quit them because there are so ! many ! seasons ! and episodes !! so by some luck or miracle, I somehow finished this (pls be proud of me).
I got inspired by maryxstuart's multiqueens edits using the same song and I fell in love and remembered why I love period dramas (and queens!) so much!! Mary Stuart is quite possibly my favourite fictional character (reign isnt the most historically accurate show so in my books the cw's mary stuart is pretty fictional) Mary is infinitely strong, brave and independent and her story is quite the sad one. Rizzio's death still remains one of the saddest moments in the entire show. Anyways.. Hope you guys liked the video :)

This tells the story of the real queen Mary based on real life events. They skipped an important chunk of what happened at the end and just fast forwarded to her death but basically yes Darnley was killed but Mary wasn't implicated until she decided to Mary Bothwell, who was suspected of murdering him. Then, you know the rest. But she wasn't arrested right away like John Knox did.

This is one of the few shows that I would highly recommend. I’m proud to say that I finished it without even skipping. This show has a balanced romance, action, mystery and drama. When Mary gets to heaven, she immediately tells francis how hard it has been. Her life was so difficult and for so many years! Finally, some peace after struggling and fighting, mainly on her own, for a very long time!

i've read some of her poetry and she truly was a remarkable woman. losing francis was most likely what impacted the rest of her life and her decisions, absolutely beautiful.
When John Knox says a woman in power goes against nature it self, it gives me this tragic helpless dark feeling inside because like Mary and my mom so many have been kept down! And some people regardless of sex believe this.
I learned a lot from Reign and its truly heartbreaking. This captured a lot of her pain.

In the midst of all suffering, this storyline taught many things. One of them is women included royals were put in dangerous situations controlled by abusing- power men and most beautifully, Mary was a fighter and even after so many loses continued with the purpose she had in life, bigger than herself.
Even tho I'm English I eoykd bow to mary she was strong and powerful but her fall was because week men wanted the power she had I loved the ßeries I cried at the end I love mary and Adelaides performance was Stella impeccable
