An easy guide to Rans Rocket

- I finally purchased a Recumbent bike I've had my eye on for years, A Rans Rocket recumbent. In the process, I learned about the different versions they made over the years, so I made a short video to show how to tell them apart.

Been riding a Sun EZ LWB sport for 2 two years after I had small back injury. L4 50% collapse due to a slip on a wet floor.Oh well. Just purchased my new to me Rocket with 2" tube and 20x20. As you said, after adjusting the seat and bars to fit me it took only about an hour of riding to get used to things. Now I wouldn't trade it for anything else. Thx for the video!
Mine is the most comfortable bike I've ever ridden.
I recently bought a Rocket. Two "problems" with it: There's hardly any room on handlebars to mount accessories such as headlight, flasher air horn, bike computer. The gear ratio was disappointing. Not low enough to climb steep hills. No place to mount water bottle cages. I think those things can be overcome and I love recumbents. Been riding them since 1998. Thanks for the video.
There is a place for the water bottle cages. It is on the rear of the seat and requires making two small holes in the seat fabric in the correct places. If you look closely at my video you can see where they mount.
@@Dean-In-Milwaukee I see those screws now. Two on each side, round head hex screws. THANK YOU!
@@rod1148 Use a soldering iron that you aren't fond of or heat up a nail and it will melt a hole through the fabric to access the hole. Honestly, I have owned 4 RANS bicycles and every one of them was missing the bottle cages.
