    Nice work on the restoration of a fabulous old gun. Looks like that old time farmer got his money's worth when he bought that gun!

    Wow, it looks amazing! Well done, Gents. This clearly has been a labor of love, and respect for this ol' rifle to restore her to her glory, and still be able to put some meat in the pot, too. Enjoy it!

    Great job! Thats a gorgeous rifle, and Iagree I think at 100 yards thats gonna move the grouping to center. That was some good shooting, I like how you showed the grouping get tighter with the increased powder loads. Great job on the restoration as well!

    Nice old rifle. Growing up I always hung around old guys because they always wanted to teach someone who wanted to learn or just listen to what they had to say. But they always would tell me to never get anything smaller than a 40 cal black powder rifle because the smaller ones always fouled so bad. And I had always thought that the quality of powder would effect the fouling.

    • @Real11BangBang
      @Real11BangBang  7 місяців тому +2

      Well, this is our best homemade powder. And in a modern kimbler gun , we can get fifty to sixty shots without having to wipe the bore. In this gun , it's more like three , but the this gun could also have some pitting in the bore

    Don't get better for a 150 Year or older gun. It looked like wind may have pushed it left.

    • @Real11BangBang
      @Real11BangBang  7 місяців тому +1

      I really think it did. We were 20 mile an hour cross winds at times which is another reason why I didn't really want to mess with the site.

    She is a beauty. But I must say 18 lbs. is a lot for a squirrel gun. That barrel must be a stout piece of iron. Wonderful work guys. By the way, I have the same stand modified a bit. You can buy square tubing smaller than the stand tubing and extend it. Drill multiple bolt holes and lock it down at whatever length you need. I cut slots in the smaller inner tube, so adjustments are easy.

    She sure is pretty 😊 . I've been hesitant on getting another 32 due to the fouling. I can shoot 36 and up all day using spit patch. Although I've got a hankerin to build a 28 inch barrel full stock 32. Watch yur top notch 🍻

    Outstanding job and video. I’m curious about the makers mark. I have a 32 cal rifle that has a nearly identical patch box and crescent butt plate as well as the rear sight. It’s a half stock and the only makers mark I could see was the barrel manufacturer Postly Nelson and Co. out of Pittsburgh. New sub. Great channel

    Bore scope/endoscope definitely worth it i got a general endoscope 8mm diameter on the camera so no good for a .22 don't know how it would fair with your rifle but I think it was £25 can also record and add to the filming in different angles you can't always get to 👍

    Come on, wearing gloves is a bit much. And the religious music is insulting. Worship a
    turnip for all I care, just don't shove it in our faces.

    • @Real11BangBang
      @Real11BangBang  7 місяців тому +4

      the gloves are not necessary for me or the gun but to help the small pieces im holding in the original video be more visible in the magnifying light, but you didnt think about that before making a very ignorant comment did you. i dont care if you like religious music or not it is the stapel music of the time when this gun was made. not one religious word was muttered but this happens to be one of my favorite tunes and has great american history being carried clear across the american Continent by settlers so i add it in. Maybe think about what you're saying before you make such an uninformed comment.

      How is willfully watching a video causing religion to be forced into your face? It's also very intolerant and religiously insensitive of you to find his particular religious music insulting. How dare you shove your insensitive and intolerant comment in our faces. I know I freely came to the comments section and willfully read all the comments, but this....this right here was just shoved in my face.

    • @Everythingblackpowder

      😂 GTFO. the religious background music is insulting and it’s being shoved in your face?!?! Do you get this upset when you see a Jesus bumper sticker on a car? Are they shoving that in your face too? Man, Life must be exhausting when you have to constantly look for things to be offended about.
