You could actually give us some info on this. How much? What's the gas mileage? How much weight will it haul? Duh! Will the local Toyota dealer service it? Can it be ordered via a local dealership?
Is there a practical version? No fancy paint or a/c or power windows, just a mini work truck that people can use on their rural properties?
you did not mention the engine, such as horsepower, estimated milage, top speed
🤔Owned a Suzuki-Carry,2in. lift, oil heater, battery warmer it was an awesome lil truk to tool around in.😎
I'd buy one in a minute.
This quality looks better than my ford Maverick
Nice truck, but I would trade all that power stuff (windows, locks, auto-start, etc.) for a hydraulic dump bed.
They use these and the van types in Turkiye 🇹🇷 ...! With gasoline at 1.59 USD per liter ( ~6 USD per gallon ), it makes sense !
Diesel option would be better. Many farmers already have diesel storage tanks for tractors and other equipment.
I agree!! Lots of diesel here for tractors and heaters, but no gas, even my Jeep is diesel. I fill it like once every two months, excellent fuel economy. I can imagine filling one of these once every 6 months LOL.
These things are dope
台灣人民望早日開放大發小貨車來台灣哦
Greetings and cheers! From the Gulf of Mexico!
I’m getting one!
I like the simplistic design, but why would they make the bed so short? Perplexing
Web site link didn't work...
Hmm the Steering wheel is on the wrong side and is it 4 wheel Drive and that makes me want One for myself .
Thats a nice truck right there
Genial espectacular magnífico traer a la Argentina urgente gracias
Great truck and fantastic color
Do it comes in left-hand drive
I saw several U.S. dealer for $25,995 to $29,900
That is about 1/2 the price of the Canoo EV truck (time will tell if the new company survives)
Would be better if the cost was the cost of a Honda Fit... $18k~.
Your price for a side by side is 30k to 40k that truck has a lot more going for it than a shitty built side by side.
i bought my ford 2008 f-350 4x4 diesel crew cab not a ding, low miles with service body used in light pool maintainence out of california last year because anything older than 2010 not legal in cali --got for 20,000$--my neighbor bought same for 12000$ with a few dings--we both deleted all the smog crap--no emissions in our area--these trucks are beasts--in ten years be lucky to put 50k on it,at most 75k miles
True, that is why I am looking at this video, SXS sales prices are out of control now!! @@idahobob180
i was wounding when these would come to the states..
We need right side drive versions of these trucks for road use.
us mexicans fvckin' love toyota trucks!
A huevo
Mister how much ? Why do you giys always never give out the price ?
This is NOT made by Toyota! Daihatsu was an independent company for decades which was then purchased by Toyota in 2016. Now it is an independent subsidiary of Toyota. Daihatsu engineers and builds its own cars.
Very good truck
Excellent. I like this. Great job all.
We can buy new models in the US? Are they legal in all the states? The older imports aren't legal for safety in mine.
Where can I pick one of these up and how much do they cost?
Uhh, I,m an American living in Japan. Daihatsu are very reliable. I own a passenger car. If I get distracted I sometimes turn the wipers on instead of the turn signal! Everything is laid out opposite! Signal to the right of the steering ,,wiper controls on the left. But you get used to it!
It’s unfortunate we can’t really drive them on the highways here. Otherwise, I would’ve bought on a long time ago.
Can't?
I know in Australia the highway says 110, but I'll go 80 at times because fuel economy
@@mmmddd4366 Correct. We are not allowed to drive them like normal cars on the highways. They are only regulated to farms, golf courses, short distance driving from one neighborhood house to another. I find it very lame.
@@Stevenimich oh yes of course, US highway code is different. Sorry I forgot KEI cars in general don't meet US. In Australia we can register kei cars and trucks every day of the week.
I work 12min from home in a rural area. Would be great for my 5ac and going to work. I miss the small Toyota and Mitsubishi trucks. You can thank the EPA for the loss of the small lightweight trucks of the 70's-80's.
love it from mexico!
Can't get them with the steering wheel on the proper side?
Do they sell in usa yet, left hand drive? And a tilt bed. This be perfect for my ranch and hunting
what does a hi jet pick up like the one twlked about cost to buy tax and all.?
Real work truck
They're between 20-30K on average for anyone not wanting to visit the site to get the price.
Don't you just love a dealer who is proud of everything....but the price?
Wow, I don't know that they still make Hijet, last thing I saw on the street is Hijet1000, here I haven't seen the newest Hijet maybe because Daihatsu already have a good sales with the GranMax, the new Hijet head looks like recent Suzuki Carry btw.
How are you able to bring this in, i thought that was a 25 year rule for this sort of vehicle
Can we purchase and register it in America?
What would be the cost?
Push button start and keyless entry. You've destroyed the theme of that vehicle right there with those two....
I've never shifted gears with my left hand, I'd have to get use to driving that way.
